Because I'm a fan of the A2GR team, I've been riding BMC Teamachine and Roadmachine for the last 8 years or so. To clarify: it wasn't exactly the most high-end 01 models, but BMC is famous for the quality of the bikes. This year, for "understandable" reasons, I looked around for options to buy a model from Van Rysel. I have to admit that I had a bit of disdain for buying a bike in a supermarket. Of course - I have absolutely no regrets, on the contrary. From my point of view, absolutely top and perfect machine, very fast with very good handling. I think the handlebars are better than BMC. Very good bike for going fast! Top price. Rigid as it should be, very pleasant to restart. The wheels are a very good surprise for mid-range. (light and rigid enough not to bend on the first restart). The speedometer support matching the Deda stem is provided, it's very good. (it is almost impossible to find in stores and overpriced) Weight: 7.34kg without pedals mounted tubeless with Garmin support and 30ml of liquid in each wheel. a few small downsides: - the screw cover for tightening the seat post which is not great, it looks like what you find on the specs (and that's not a compliment) - the manufacturing quality of the stem which seems very random: it seems that there are 2 different screw assemblies depending on when the stem was manufactured, one with 1 flat washer and very short screws (creepy), the other with 1 conical washer , a flat one and long screws, on my bike, 2 of the 4 conical washers were crushed reduced to a piece of sharp metal because the plates which hold the handlebars had a defect... (I realized these differences when purchasing a whole set of stems for a postural study) - we would have liked to be able to choose the length of the cranks, the stem and the width of the handlebars before purchasing.

TOP !! A rocket for my competitions!

I have used this bike in competition for around 2000km since purchase and it is great! I'm really satisfied, it responds well, rigid, aero, I was skeptical about the wheels but ultimately they are great! A bike that reacts well at high speed and climbs perfectly on bumps BRAVO!!

Excellent product.

After 9 months with the bike I am delighted with it. A very light bike with super competitive components. The bike looks stiff and responsive. On descents it gives me a lot of confidence, today if I had to buy a new bike I would definitely choose the same one again.

Fragile material

Overall, it's a good bike, value for money. To see the quality of everything over time…. The carbon frame gives reflections, like the beginnings of cracks. Also to be seen over time if it does not deteriorate. Be careful when assembling the half-coasters of the handlebars, because even when tightening below the standard of 5Nm, two screws and a half-coaster were badly damaged (completely crushed material of the cover and washers of the two screws hs). Hoping that the after-sales service will take this into account and exchange the damaged parts for me. If so, I will increase the quality/price ratio.

Almost perfect

Overall Incredible bike A simple error during assembly (reversing the stem bridges) damaged the stem but replaced by after-sales service so good point. On the other hand, a little disappointed to have received it with an old version Fizik Antares R5 saddle which causes me loss of sensation where it doesn't feel good (no opening) while current customers receive the new version of the Antares (open to avoid my problems) and in R3 therefore more upscale... Also the bike is delivered with non-ventilated pads which are noisy at the front despite maintenance with specific products. I'll check on L05A if the problem goes away. Also the cover of the seat post tightening system is frankly not at the height of the bike

very good but not finished enough

It's a very good bike but... To begin with I received the bike with the cracked frame. + one week wait for frame change. The headset cover touched the frame but it was impossible to fit 0.25mm extension washers. The tires were quickly removed as well as the handlebars and the saddle. Not even ventilated pads for 5500 while they are on the EDR in 105 mechanical at 2150.

I consider myself very lucky to have been able to purchase this bike, unquestionable value for money, it has nothing to envy of the big brands. Excellent quality materials as well as being fitted entirely with Shimano Ultegra wheels including which is a guarantee. 52/36 30/11 truly top. The color is also spot on in my opinion, a very arrogant matte black! Fluid, light and aerodynamic. Special thanks to the Decathlon bike staff of Montecatini Terme for their kindness and competence

At the top despite a few surprises

I am an average cyclist (25-27 average - 6000km/year) and my first outings showed a gain of around 2km/h with this bike. I come from a btwin mach 720 CF with mavic ksyrium pro. everything is better on this RCR! top performance, comfortable even on my bad Ardèche roads, the transition to DI2 was done without difficulty. Thank you Decathlon for offering this bike without giving in to the fashion for high rims, untenable in the mistral. These C36s are great and quiet when freewheeling. 3 negative points could earn it half a star less: - the color is not uniform, it is a raw carbon version so let's admit but the visual of the bike on the site is uniform while reflections / traces are a little visible on my downtube and are very visible on both sides of my fork. to know before buying it's a little disappointing. - stocks are supplied erratically at all times of the day and night. To get it I had to consult the site 30 times a day for quite a long time. finally a few M went into stock at 3am... the email alert system for returning to stock does not work. - the bikes are sold without road pedals, a bad habit picked up from other bike brands. my old btwin was sold with Keo 2 and cost a quarter of the price of this one. for the future RCR "2", consider integrating a completely integrated stem handlebar combo and a compartment for the repair kit in the frame, it's a shame to put a saddle bag on this car!

Exceptional bike, I go over bumps 2 to 3 km/h faster. On the flat, it is the same. I am an ffc licensee, I recommend this bike to any courier or any cyclist. Thank you Decathlon for this marvel

The rcr range

The RCR range is a real treat for cyclists who want a complete bike with no compromises. For this bike, performance was our priority. The cross-sections of every tube have been calculated to be as efficient as possible in the main wind angles (-15°/+15°).This bike falls into the aero-light category: an optimum balance of lightness, rigidity and aerodynamics has been found to make this an exceptional bike.If you're after a bike that's designed to win races, look no further than the RCR!

What's the difference between the rcr and the rcr pro?

What makes a carbon frame is its geometry, its shapes and its layup. The layup is how the carbon fibres are assembled. Not all fibres have the same properties. On the frame of the RCR, we only use high-modulus fibres. On the RCR PRO, we've chosen exceptional fibres that make the bike stiffer in the areas that are put under the most stress and that slightly reduce the weight. The RCR PRO is ready to compete at the highest level.

A closer look at the frame

The RCR Pro's frame weighs 790 g (painted) in size M The RCR's fork weighs 380 g (painted) in size MThe frame can take tyres up to 32 mm wide. There may be slight variations in weight depending on the colour (+/- 50 g).

Product testing

The RCR Pro has been tested and approved by riders on the Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale professional World Tour team.
