I thought it would have been a bit warmer
a compact down jacket which easily folds away in its left hand pocket using a zip with double puller. I bought M size which is only 273 grams. Its outer fabric is water repellent which prevents water from getting in.
I wore it on a trek and on day one it got a cut on my arm and the stuffing started coming out. I had to put a cellotape and wrap a piece of cloth around it to prevent it from further damage. I cannot wear it again and it is not at all a durable product. I hope i can get it exchanged so that i can wear it in winters atleast when I’m in delhi.
Thank you for your valuable review. We are sorry that you were not satisfied with the product. I am sorry to say we will not be able to exchange the product as the external cut is wear and tear and doesn't come under our 2 year warranty promise.

Good price , light weight and comfortable
I watched lots of reviews and was not entirely convinced that this jacket would be as good as it appeared to be, especially for the price. I decided to purchase online, fully expecting to return it. It is superb. Super warm, super lightweight, excellent fit. Even the colour, which on the screen I thought looked a bit garish, is fine. A brilliant product enhanced by the fact that it packs into its own pocket. Feel delighted that I have a down jacket without breaking the bank.
Great coat. Been wearing it to a trip to Belfast. Great that it packs down easily in its own pocket, very convenient! Also loveeee the big pockets! Not something you get often with most coats/jackets. Been wearing it in the rain -- does keep the water out! Only have an issue with the colours. I bought the blue but find the colours really garish. I struggle to find things that match my blue coat :( the navy blue is ok but looks too shiny so went for the lighter blue. I wish they did a more neutral colour for the more plainer girls. They do a grey in the men's so why not the women
Light weighted & fully warm.. it’s worth buying..
Comfortable, trendy, bold and warm enough to brave the Delhi chill... Recommended.
I bought this jacket for my trip to Russia. This jacket was not effective in delhi where it was 10 degrees temperature. I was not fit even for 1 degree in Moscow even after wearing thermals and fleece inside. I would want to return this product, after paying a high price its not at all worth it.
Thank you for taking out time to give your valuable feedback. We are sorry that you were not satisfied with the product. We communicate about the temperature rating on our jackets after a field test on different individuals as the feeling of cold is subjective. The test is done with full layering and panoply i.e with Base layer, Fleece Layer (Layer 2), Warm hat, Warm socks, Trekking gloves, Trekking boots etc and the test is done during trek when the body is active and releasing heat. Hence for a normal trip when you are not using proper panoply and you are not trekking/ are active the temperature rating will not be -5 degree which we communicate.
However, If you feel the product did not solve the purpose, We apologize for not being able to suggest the right product at the time of purchase, Please feel free to return or exchange the product at your nearest Decathlon store.
I hope the information was helpful. Kindly write back to me in case of any further queries.

Christmas present for my wife which she loves. Result!
The jacket itself will not suffice for a temperature below 0 degrees Celsius. A go layer of thermals is mandatory to make one feel comfortable. Otherwise the jacket is lightweight and of good quality.
I really liked the stuff I bought from Decathlon Good use for 20 days

This padded jacket, worn as a 3rd layer, has been certified for a comfort temperature of 23°F during a standardized test in a thermal chamber. The model wears a synthetic long-sleeved T-shirt and a light fleece underneath. It works with a simulated 3 mph wind. In our heat comparison tool, it represents 2 stars. We have also tested this model in "static" mode; its temperature rating is 41°F in this case.
We use RDS-certified down: Responsible Down Standard. Our traceability system allows us to guarantee the origin of the feathers in accordance with our commitment to use responsible materials. Our suppliers are committed to using only feathers that come from ducks that are bred for their meat and that are plucked after slaughtering. http://sustainability.decathlon.com/media-reports/documents/
For this down jacket with its 85/15 filling, the fill power is guaranteed to be 800 CUIN or more (European standard). The fill power is a measure of the down's thermal insulation capacity and its potential to "trap" air. So, down with a higher fill power (higher CUIN number) will occupy more space, trap more air and provide greater thermal insulation.
The durability and fill power properties of down give this jacket 3 qualities for hiking: - Thermal insulation provided by the air trapped in the down and feathers - Ultra low weight: down is lighter than synthetic padding while offering the same degree of warmth. This saves even more weight in your backpack - Ultra-compressible
The material of the quilted jacket is water-repellent. The treatment is applied to the main fabric that makes drops of water run off the surface, thereby delaying the time it takes for water to get inside the down jacket, so you have enough time to get out of the rain. We nevertheless recommend wearing a waterproof jacket over the quilted jacket in the event of prolonged exposure to the rain.
Here are a few tips: close all the zippers on your down jacket and put it in the washing machine (synthetic cycle at 86°F). In order to preserve the fill power and warmth, you can even put 2 tennis balls in the machine Be careful to set a gentle spin cycle: a fast spin cycle may create balls of feathers that are difficult to break up. When you take your down jacket out of the washing machine it will seem as if the down has gone. The TUMBLE DRYER is the best way to restore the fill power of the feathers. Put your down jacket in the tumble dryer with 2 tennis balls. Run 2-3 drying cycles If you do not have a tumble dryer you can completely dry your down jacket on a drying rack by turning it over and tapping regularly https://www.forclaz.fr/conseils/comment-entretenir-sa-doudoune-en-plumes-tp_101
Over time, after washing and the wear and tear during use, the water-repellent treatment becomes less effective. This is how to re-activate the water-repellent feature of your down jacket! https://www.quechua.co.uk/advice/how-do-you-restore-water-repellent-properties-your-jacket-a_86426 And use the care product: Wash-in product for reactivating the water-repellent properties https://www.decathlon.co.uk/eco-wash-in-proof-250-ml-id_8408883.html
The environmental impact of the product is calculated based on its entire lifecycle and using different indicators. A general score from A to E is provided to help you easily identify the most eco-friendly products by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, pants, backpacks, etc). The Trek 100 down jacket has been improved over the years based on all the customer reviews. Thank you for sharing! From winter 2020, the pink model (like the other light colors) will benefit from very light-colored feathers and down. This will prevent any visually unpleasant dark areas on the down jacket when it is wet.
All our down jackets are laboratory tested with 3 mph wind, worn as a 3rd layer on a thermal mannequin (over a long-sleeved T-shirt and fleece). Their level of thermal insulation is measured on a scale of 1 to 5, so that you can make the choice that best suits your use.
