Kids Bikes

About Our Kids' Bikes Collection

Decathlon designs bikes for children and toddlers so they can learn this important life skill from an early age. We have bikes for young children as well as bikes for older kids and pre-teens. Our range includes girls' bikes, boys' bikes, and gender-neutral bikes.

For Ages 2-4

Our kids balance bikes are pedalless, providing the perfect opportunity for children as young as 2 to be introduced to balancing on their own two feet while staying safe.

For Ages 3-5

For kids 3 to 5 years old, Decathlon’s Btwin brand has created bikes with spokes, pedals, and training wheels that help your child build confidence when cycling. These bikes have 14" wheels and feature fun designs like unicorns. With Btwin bikes, you can trust that your child will have fun and be safe on adventures outdoors with the family.

For Ages 4-6

At 4 to 6 years old, your child may be ready for 16 inch wheels and really start to take on the road. These bikes are durable and feature brake controls for learning to ride grown-up style. Some come with mudguards to protect against small messes while out on an excursion. These bikes have unexposed chains and sprockets to ensure safety.

For Ages 6-9

20 inch bikes are perfect for kids 6 to 9. This range includes kids' mountain bikes so they can take their skills to the next level and also includes hybrid bikes for more adventurous rides on the road or in the park. These bikes feature a chain guard to ensure safety for kids and peace of mind for adults.

For Ages 9-12

At 9 to 12 years old, kids are ready for 24 inch bikes. These bikes are the most similar to adult bikes and prepare your kid for their every cycling need. Find out why our Btwin Original 500 was rated 4 out of 5 stars. And if you’re looking for one of your own to ride along with your child, don’t worry! We’ve got plenty of adult bikes, too (even if you’re also learning alongside them)! As well as accessories such as locks, lights, and bells; and maintenance parts such as bike seats, tires, and tubes.
