Too expensive all at once

I was just about to get this backpack, which until last week was 7,500 rsd, its price has skyrocketed for no reason, hence the rating 3

Good - to Great ; Possibly 1-2 flaws

I downgraded from a 30L decathlon MH500 pacl (At 60cm, it was too high above my shoulders) The MH900 at 50cm is perfect. The 25L size is almost perfect, and I have everything I need for a long extended day hike packed inside the bag (my Waterproof, my rain trousers, first aid kit, food, 2L of water, gaiters, spare socks etc). The pockets are excellent - and the 500ml pocket for a 3rd water bottle is easy to reach (a big plus !!!) It feels well balanced on the back and hips My only concern is the Top Pocket (sometimes called the Brain) I dont think it effectively covers the top the main circular opening of the back pack. It looks like rain can get under this hood and will pool / puddle into the top circular opening I suppose if its raining that much, it would be time to use the inbuilt rain cover; but I can see a simple design change to the pack that would easily prevent this. Overall - excellent - and I'll write another review after using it in September

I highly recommend it

This is the backpack I was looking for! Having it in your hands, you can feel that it was designed by people who know what they're talking about. Access to the inside through a zipper on the appropriate side of the backpack provides access without taking the backpack off your shoulder, perfectly made and sewn, lightweight, contoured back, well-thought-out pockets, space for a water bladder separate from the main chamber, rain cover, space for poles/ice axe... I could list only advantages. I recommend the backpack for one-day trips, for going to the mountains as a second backpack to an expedition. At this price, you really won't find anything better designed.

Versatile, nicely designed compact backpack

A backpack that meets all needs, in addition to the usual two side pockets, it also has a water bottle holder that is easily accessible on the go, internal organizing pockets, two waist belt pockets, and a rain cover. It can also be opened from below, and the capacity can be further increased by adjusting the roof height. The rear rubber part is suitable for attaching a bicycle helmet. A special positive is the aluminum stiffening bar located at the back. Due to its light size and good grip, it is also excellent for cycling.

Perfect

Very good bag for a short day of hiking.

The backpack worked for me on a weekend hike in the mountains. Quite enough for 2-3 days of use. I appreciated the pocket on the hip belt for drinking, and the two pockets on the hip belt. The size and adjustability of the backpack suit me perfectly. Handles and rubbers on the outside of the backpack are also suitable. Unfortunately, in heavy rain, despite the raincoat of the backpack, it did not keep the things inside dry. Even the supposedly waterproof pocket on the waist belt got wet.

A great product, I should have bought it sooner

Good bag for day hikes

+- 30km since its purchase and I am satisfied with it. I wear it mainly with the waist, comfortable and very thin / light straps. The materials of the bag are light. The volume is suitable for a day, power bank, first aid kit, waterproof jacket, sweater and children's sweaters fit in it. the water pocket system is not bad, it allows me to store the first aid kit and my filter bottle for quick access. the belt bottle pocket is used to have my insta360 on hand. My 2 800ml decathlon bottles fit very well in the side pockets. The negative point for the moment is the tightening elastics. Why not have put classic spring clasps? The double knot system is rubbish. I replaced it immediately with spring clasps.

almost perfect

As in the title, almost perfect, if not for the finish of the shoulder straps - they are made of a strange, quite hard material and finished with a sharp, rough to the touch mesh. During a hike on a hot day in a T-shirt with thin straps, they squashed and irritated me a lot on the clavicular processes. The next day I had a problem with these places. They bothered me the whole way. It was similar with the hip belt, which also irritated my hip spines. I will add that I have used many backpacks so far and I have not had such problems.

perfect backpack

I did the Tour du Mont Blanc in a tent with this backpack, with an ultralight approach. It performed divinely. The backpack is sturdy, light and comfortable; the back, despite being in contact with the back, makes you sweat less than some mesh backs. If I could suggest an improvement I would make the bottle holders accessible without removing the backpack, like the rest of the Decathlon backpack range. I agree with what other reviewers have highlighted, namely the need for a more capacious version of this backpack.

It’s light, and although it’s more expensive than Decathlon, it’s easy to use every day.

Good backpack quality price

For the weight/euro it is unbeatable, the rest of the mountain brands triple the price.

Comfortable and very good…

Comfortable and very well designed. Everything is easily accessible.

Purchased a month ago and used for 4-5 excursions. Extremely light, well designed and well built, a thousand pockets and pockets, excellent double opening of the main compartment. It fits well and the rigid back allows for excellent ventilation. Small volume but sufficient for summer day excursions (they also made a 35-40lt I would take that too...) Overall, therefore, very good, with 2 "defects": - being one size fits all they had to make compromises: backrest and shoulder straps they are too short for me (1.82 x 90kg) while the belt is too big for my girlfriend (1.67x50kg). It would be much better to have 2 sizes - the shape of the backrest makes it impractical to insert the water bag, perhaps a better solution could have been found.
