Great shorts! Really good fit
This was not a planned buy but I tried them on in the shop and they felt very comfortable. Well designed with pockets and belt, make me look good, they say, and the price was very good (reduced). I wear them as everyday in summer but also for cycling (commute) and hiking. I bought a second pair in different colour I found in a different shop/country.
Really stretchy and comfortable. Even though I have quite a few pairs of the same size the waist fitting is variable by 2-3cm between pairs! Worth trying them on first

I have had several pairs of these shorts in the past and they are great. Excellent quality and long lasting. However the latest design seem to have stretched so now too big for me? Even after washing I hoped they would return to original size but they are still too big???

Comfortable, and lightweight, quick drying. I recently climbed mount Snowdon and have played golf. Very good shorts.
I was very pleased with these shorts but the press studs fell off on the thigh pocket so disappointing as I have the forclaz trekking trousers and they are brilliant
I am extremely happy with these versatile shorts, that I will use for walking, sailing, cycling & travel. I take a 32" waist and am 172cm tall and these shorts come to just very slightly above my knee. I'd prefer them to be a bit shorter, but they aren't too long, nor too baggy (as so many walking shorts are). Although I'd prefer it a little closer, the cut is actually just about right for freedom of movement with full pockets. The material is just the right weight - light and stretchy but still able to carry stuff. The darker seat material is tougher, but not by a lot: it isn't the super heavy gauge I thought it might be. All of the pockets can take a 160mm long (ie. 6.5" screen) smartphone, and the inner sleeve designed specifically for one inside the right-hand zipped thigh pocket is especially useful in preventing it from flapping around when you're walking. Meanwhile, the left-hand thigh pocket with the flap closure can comfortably hold a large wallet, and the belt is handy for carrying a multi-tool. The fact that all the other pockets have zips for secure storage is definitely a plus point too. The pockets are all mesh ones, so they can be used for ventilation, but the mesh is well designed so that it doesn't snag on things you're trying to put in there. It also means they will drain if you swim, whilst the belt is also impervious to water. I'm not a fan of press stud waist closures because they come undone too easily, but this one is very strong and will be fine. The best pair of shorts I have. Even come with a 2-year warranty.

These trousers have been designed with 3 different components:- a durable fabric (198 g/m2) on the areas that need protection from abrasion (seat, bottom of the leg at the front). This fabric is also stretchy, enabling great freedom of movement;- a light and breathable fabric (145 g/m2) on the rest of the trousers;- a very stretchy insert in the crotch area (15% elastane).
