Question:

Is the fit - the suspension - adjustable? I'm 6-2

Answer:

We're happy to inform you that the torso length of the backpack is indeed adjustable to accommodate different body sizes, including yours at 6'2". To ensure a comfortable fit, it's essential to measure your torso length accurately. This measurement is the distance between your 7th vertebra (the prominent bone at the base of your neck) and your ilium (the top of your hip bones). Our backpack's adjustable torso length ranges from a minimum of 39 cm (15 inches) to a maximum of 51 cm (20 inches). Additionally, the waistband of the backpack is also adjustable to provide a snug fit around your waist. The waistband adjustment ranges from a minimum of 79 cm (31 inches) to a maximum of 136 cm (54 inches). Furthermore, the back panel of the backpack is adjustable with a release strap, making it easy and quick to customize the fit according to your preferences and body size. For the most comfortable and personalized fit, we recommend measuring your torso length and waist size using the provided guidelines before making your selection.

Hiking bag

Super comfortable you don't even feel like you're carrying heavy loads

Nice hiking backpack

This hiking backpack looks and is very well made. The material is very thin, however. I'm curious to see what it can really withstand. I feel that there could have been more zipped compartments inside. My son likes it, though. We'll have to wait and see how the backpack performs on his first vacation.

I recommend it to anyone who wants to do very comfortable and light trekking.

Comfortable and practical.

I measure 1.88 and this backpack is comfortable for me to carry and practical during my treks of several days (around 11 kgs). A little heavy, its wide belt nevertheless holds the bottom of the bag well and its adjustable back makes it easy to finely adjust the straps. These are well padded and have a pleasant mesh back. Its compartmentalization is successful and its structure seems robust to me. Too big for cabin baggage on a plane. Difficult to stand up and I always put my floor mat attached underneath, to preserve the fabric which seems vulnerable. Without reaching the qualitative level of “high-end” competitors, it nevertheless incorporates several elements, which make it very efficient and pleasant to carry. A few grams to be saved by shortening excessively long straps. Retractable upper collar (to bring the liter to 60l) never used. .

Tough bag meeting all needs

A cheaper alternative to the Osprey Atmos 50 backpack. Unfortunately, "UNUSABLE" coloring (terrible color for nature). When the variants are dark green, gray, brown, I might even buy it.

Very good

After 2 years of use, nothing to complain about. Top material. Top workmanship

I bought a men's hiking backpack because it fit me better than a women's backpack and I can highly recommend it. It really fits a lot of stuff, it has many pockets which are great and it wears seriously perfectly.

Pay attention to space

Perfectly suited for bivouac. Quite heavy with all the straps and adjustment mechanisms, but for this price it's understandable. Pay attention however to the volume of the equipment, by putting my tent (Jamet Oural) inside to avoid being unbalanced with the rest of my equipment and my water bag, there was not much left for food.

Gives what it promises.

This summer I did the Liébana trail and the backpack from a brand that could theoretically be better than Quechua let me down. In fact, it grazed my shoulder. I have tried it on a trip and with similar conditions and I found it comfortable and with a good fit on my back.

Air design

As with the MT900 UL line, the MT500 AIR range has a ventilated back structure with mesh fabric (net fabric) that helps the back to breathe and dries quickly. Rigidity is guaranteed by a reinforced frame. The back is adjustable with a release strap that’s easy and quick to use.

Recommended carry weight

According to the project for which this backpack was designed, we recommend you don’t load it above 15 kg. Then you can benefit from all its features. Moreover, it’s not recommended to carry a load greater than 20-25% of your own weight and put too much pressure on your back.

How to pack a backpack?

Put your bedding at the bottom. Put heavy gear (tent, camp stove, food) near your back. Store your clothing around it. A groundsheet or tent can be placed under the flap or under the bag if there isn't room inside. Keep your waterproof jacket and fleece to hand. Place small items for daily use (sun cream, map, glasses etc.) in the pockets. The water bladder can be placed in the compartment provided down the back.

How to use the multi-use straps?

The new range of MT500 AIR and MT900 UL bags has two straps with open aluminium buckles (on the lower part of the bag). These straps let you hook on a tent or mattress under the bag or on the barrel. If not in use, these straps can be stored (by pushing them inside) in the hidden pocket intended for this or detached and used elsewhere with the lark's head knot buckle.
