To test, assess and validate products, our mission test connects the product manager responsible for the product design with individuals independent to DECATHLON. This backpack was tested by trekkers for 5 weeks in the Canary Islands, the Pyrenees and the Mont Blanc mountain range.

The truth is that I bought it to do the Camino de Santiago, even though it is big, it is really comfortable and I have already taken it on other routes and on rocky terrain and with bushes and it has held up very well.
Excellent product cost and space
Versatile bag, I use it during my hikes but also for traveling. Sleek design. However, I find that it lacks a few compartments and those present are not very well placed or too small (especially the one for the water bottle). Straps to be provided. But hey, we can't hope for better for a bag with such an AFFORDABLE price!

Friends, I have not seen any deformed or bad products from Decathlon, and I think that their products are of high quality and affordable, and can be purchased with peace of mind.

I walked 10 km to my campsite by loading 25 kilos of weight, it was quite sturdy and comfortable.
It is a very high quality product for its price. It has many eyes. It supports the back well. I use it with pleasure.
I think the front zipper is easy for anyone to open and take out your things, but there is no way to secure it.

Really happy with this, it adjusts very well and is super comfortable, lots of storage space and the different access methods suit my hikinh needs perfectly.
It is a very good backpack with enough space for everything you need, what I did not like is that there are hardly any small compartments to organize small objects.

After the 70 L version of this series was a bit too big for my purposes, I bought this 50 L version because the overall concept had already convinced me. What I like: - The many, easily usable compartments - The central front access to the main compartment - The large sleeping bag compartment - The rain cover in the separate compartment under the lid - The relatively low weight for the given volume - The firm padding in the lower back area - The well-functioning EasyFit system The only thing that isn't ideal is that the carrying comfort decreases somewhat from around 12 kg. That may not be the case for other people and I normally only pack 10 - 11 kg. So it's not really a problem for me.

Easyfit system
Our patented Easyfit system allows you to adjust the torso height and strap tension simultaneously by pulling on one single strap (on each side). 1. Put on your bag2. Buckle and tighten the belt3. Pull the handles (from bottom to top) It’s adjusted!
Capacity
50 L volume. The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardised method. we use small balls to fill the main compartment as well as each pocket. The balls are then emptied into a graduated container in order to determine the equivalent volume in litres, with a margin of error of just a few %.
How to pack a backpack?
Put your bedding at the bottom. Put heavy gear (tent, camp stove, food) near your back. Store your clothing around it. A groundsheet or tent can be placed under the flap or under the bag if there isn't room inside. Keep your waterproof jacket and fleece to hand. Place small items for daily use (sun cream, map, glasses etc.) in the pockets. The water bladder can be placed in the compartment provided down the back.
