Really comfortable and flexible. Though a little bit tight on the quads, but I have heavily trained legs. Best to try on in store, highly recommended.

Exceeded expectations - great close fitting walking trousers - just don't expect cargo pant storage!
Purchased these with the view to using them as a daily trouser for work etc. the length was just about ok but the fit on the thigh despite going up 2” in size they were tight fitting. Shame as they looked well made and previously I’ve purchased this brand before but the lighter duty version. If they made them a little more roomy in the thigh I would have kept them. However if tight fitting trousers is your thing you’ll be just fine.
These generally fit well and are very well made with good design features. My only criticism would be that the larger waist size is only available in the longer 34”Leg.

Very comfortable trousers wairing every day at work
These Decathlon Forclaz trousers are brilliant.I have been buying walking gear for years and this was the first time I have moved off of the usual brands. The stretch is so good for up & down hill. I find them so comfortable that I have now consigned my older trousers to the back of the wardrobe. I have been wearing them constantly in the Scottish highlands, so much so that I wasn't finding time to launder them! My solution to this was to buy another pair so I'm now doubly pleased!
Used in Norway for a couple of weeks, between walks and real trekking. They fit well, comfortable, dry quickly and are super breathable.
Buy it urgently and it's great! I caught my pants on some barbed wire and they didn't hurt, it was the reason for their tear resistance.

These trousers have been designed with 2 different components:- a very durable fabric (277 g/m²) on the areas that need protection from abrasion (buttocks, knees and the front of the lower leg); - a durable (198 g/m2) and stretchy fabric (12% elastane) on the rest of the trousers provides you with great freedom of movement.
What can be said about the men’s mt900 trousers’ water-repellent features?
These MT900 trousers are water-repellent. They allow water to slide off the surface of the fabric. Please note, this does not mean WATERPROOF.The water repellency prevents the trousers from getting wet too quickly. However, this won’t be enough to keep you dry if you’re in steady rain. To do this, you will need a pair of over-trousers like the MT500 model (ref. 8736465).Water repellency can be reactivated using a reactivating water repellent spray (ref. 8800346).
What accessories come with the mt900 trekking trousers?
The MT900 trekking trousers are equipped with several pockets:- 2 zipped hand pockets;- two zipped thigh pockets;- 1 zipped back pocket.A hook at the bottom of each trouser leg allows you to hook your trousers over your boots so that you can prevent stones and snow from getting inside. 2 ventilation zips on the sides to improve air circulation. The belt supplied with the trousers can also be used as a tightening strap for your equipment.
What is the cut of the mt900 trousers?
These trousers have a snug, close-fitting cut. The use of fabric with two-way stretch gives perfect ease of movement. If you prefer a looser fit trouser, choose one size up from your usual size.
