Very happy with this…

Very happy with these light, hard-wearing and comfortable pants

uncomfortable wearing experience

Up until now I have had no problems with Decathlon trousers; however, I have noticed with several of them that the material is very uncomfortable to wear on the skin (itching). Unfortunately, this also applies to these, which are otherwise of good quality. Perhaps washing them once would help, but even if it does happen, it will become apparent that the material contains harmful substances. In addition, the leg pockets are not ideally positioned: if you fill them even slightly, the item, even if it is not that thick, will rub against your thigh with every step because of the narrowness of the pockets, and when climbing stairs, i.e. also against your kneecap when going uphill. In my opinion, this should not be the case. Note: The trousers otherwise fit very well, are not too small, not too big, so it cannot be due to buying the wrong size. It would be nice if better fabrics/materials were used in the future.

Good quality but runs a little small

I bought these trekking pants for my mountain outings and I am generally satisfied with them. The water-repellent fabric is ideal for facing bad weather, and they are really pleasant to wear when hiking. However, I find that they are a little small, so you have to take a size above to be comfortable. Apart from that, they are perfect for outings in the wilderness, robust and functional.

Soft and comfortable, cut…

Flexible and comfortable, decent windbreaker but, having been lucky on my hikes, I haven't yet been able to test the water-repellent side.

mountain trekking pants

always the same problem with the pants: the crotch is too long for people of average height. it must be taken in each time. It would be good to take this remark into account! Use next week as an "old" hiker.

Men's hiking pants, water-repellent, windproof - MT900

It is very comfortable, dries extremely quickly, a special plus point for the long ventilation along the calf

A very good pair of pants

Comfortable and durable, a safe bet But after a year of good and loyal service, the seams are giving way at the crotch, a widespread disease at Decathlon

Additional Product Information

Composition

Main fabric: 88.0% Polyamide, 12.0% Elastane ; Yoke: 96.0% Polyamide, 4.0% Elastane ; Lining: 100.0% Polyester

Why choose a hybrid construction for these mt900 trekking trousers?

These trousers have been designed with 2 different components:- a very durable fabric (277 g/m²) on the areas that need protection from abrasion (buttocks, knees and the front of the lower leg); - a durable (198 g/m2) and stretchy fabric (12% elastane) on the rest of the trousers provides you with great freedom of movement.

What can be said about the men’s mt900 trousers’ water-repellent features?

These MT900 trousers are water-repellent. They allow water to slide off the surface of the fabric. Please note, this does not mean WATERPROOF. The water repellency prevents the trousers from getting wet too quickly. However, this won’t be enough to keep you dry if you’re in steady rain. To do this, you will need a pair of over-trousers like the MT500 model (ref.8736465).Water repellency can be reactivated using a reactivating water repellent spray (ref. 8800346).

What accessories come with the mt900 trekking trousers?

The MT900 trekking trousers are equipped with several pockets:- 2 zipped hand pockets;- two zipped thigh pockets;- 1 zipped back pocket.A hook at the bottom of each trouser leg allows you to hook your trousers over your boots so that you can prevent stones and snow from getting inside. 2 ventilation zips on the sides to improve air circulation. The belt supplied with the trousers can also be used as a tightening strap for your equipment.

What is the cut of the mt900 trousers?

These trousers have a snug, close-fitting cut. The use of fabric with two-way stretch gives perfect ease of movement. If you prefer a looser fit trouser, choose one size up from your usual size.
