Very happy with my purchase
I had a black one that I used for over 5 years until I had to buy another one and so I also changed the color.
I bought the coat for my wife and we were very pleased. She said she didn't feel cold at all and that she made the right choice. I definitely recommend it, thank you.
The jacket is very warm and protects from the wind really, but regarding waterproofness it does not withstand 2 hours of rain as given in the description. Suitable and very comfortable for mountain hikes.
Ordered for my wife and Jacket Material quality is excellent , Jacket is same as it is described . Winter are yet to come so will review after using it in winter but if we go by quality i don’t have any doubt about jacket.
A very warm jacket, perfect for long walks in winter weather.
The product is nice but we returned it because the inside was white. F/P The product can be purchased for those who do not mind the inside being white.
There is a big difference between M and L. M was a bit tight so I ordered L. L was too big. It would be better if it covered the hips a bit more. But for this price, the quality is very good.

It is a price-performance product. It is practical, sheltered, easy to clean and sufficiently protective in windy/rainy weather.
Keeps me warm. Completely waterproof. I'm 93 kg 173 cm and it fits perfectly, I can even wear a thick sweater underneath. Large size. The only problem is that it makes a squeaky noise. But it doesn't bother me. It's normal for completely waterproof jackets to make such noise.

Can i be sure that my jacket is warm enough for my winter hikes?
We developed your jacket for wintry conditions: cold, rain and snow. The insulation is made from 150 g/sqm wadding on the body and 100 g/sqm on the arms combined with a fleece.(synthetic insulating component thanks to the air that it stores in its fibres)We added an inside flap under the zip fastening to block incoming cold air. The toggle tightening at the jacket hem is the finishing touch to ensure your jacket is comfortable down to -10°.
How does my jacket protect me from outdoor conditions?
Your jacket is designed with a waterproof outer component that keeps out water and wind. To keep you warm in winter you must also protect your extremities (head, hands, feet). The warm hood, the Velcro fastenings at the cuffs and the high collar prevent the cold from entering. Two warm pockets in extremely soft fleece protect your hands from the cold.
Waterproofness of this jacket
The waterproofness of a jacket isn’t limited to just its components: the assembly technique of the different parts is also an evaluation criterion.Whether heat-sealed or sewn then waterproofed, the overall waterproofness of your jacket is measured using a shower test developed by Decathlon, which simulates rain of different intensities.As such, this waterproof jacket protects you from a downpour, i.e. 12 cm of rain in 2 hours.

The waterproofness of a fabric, provided by a coating or membrane, is measured in Schmerber or mm H²0 (pressure exerted by a column of water). The higher this number, the more waterproof the fabric. This jacket has a waterproof coating (JIS 1092 standard) resistant to 5,000 mm H²O (Schmerbers) before washing.
Water often gets in through the seams. does my jacket have waterproof seams?
Your jacket is waterproof thanks to the fully taped seams. Waterproof tape is added to the seams inside the garment to make them watertight so that water cannot enter through the more vulnerable areas.We validated the waterproofing with a shower test specially designed to replicate the conditions of a two-hour shower. We also wore it in the field in all weather conditions to make sure that it is suited to your activities.

A fabric's water repellent property is its capacity to make water run off its surface without seeping in. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight, warm and breathable. The water repellent property is achieved by treating the fabric's exterior. This treatment must be renewed throughout the garment's lifespan (recommended after each wash). Products (spray or liquid) for this purpose are available in our stores.
