Got for a trip on the Camino Was easy to put on and covered back pack as well ,kept me dry in showers
This hyking poncho is not very good for hyking unless its not reaining
Kept me dry and comfortable in the pouring rain during the Belgian Grand Prix. Would have been absolutely miserable without it.
Excellent quality
Excellent, my tent doesn't get tangled in the branches and fits perfectly with my backpack.
Purchased for a trip to Scotland: it was an efficient and comfortable travel companion. Perfect for light rain, heavy showers and strong winds. Once indoors, with two minutes of any dryer in the bathrooms it is dry and folds up to store in the backpack. Very practical. I have also started using it in the city instead of the umbrella for light rain showers
It protects properly
Ideal for light rain. Not enough for heavier rain with strong winds.
It's practical, like all capes it prevents you from getting wet but you sweat a lot.

The fit is suitable for hikers between: - 5 feet 1.2 inches and 5 feet 1.8 inches in height for size S/M- 5 feet 1.9 inches and 6 feet 2.8 inches in height for size L/XLThe hood is tightened with a drawstring and a rip-tab at the back.

Waterproofing of the garment
this garment has been validated in a shower test under 4.8'' of rain for 2 hours. This test reproduces the average conditions of a rain shower in the mountains.
Component breathability
Our range of rain ponchos and capes does not have breathable waterproof membranes. We therefore recommend this product when you walk at a gentle relaxed pace rather than a fast hike, in order to reduce sweating!
Component water resistance
A fabric is water repellent when it allows water slide over its surface without seeping in. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight, warm and breathable. The water repellent property is achieved by treating the fabric's exterior. This treatment needs to be renewed throughout the lifetime of the garment (every 3 washes).All the Forclaz ponchos and capes have a water repellent treatment.
Storage instructions
Make sure it is completely dry before folding and storing in its storage bag for long periods.
