Tested under English rain. Perfect, only the sleeves got wet, which is the only thing that the poncho doesn't cover. Easy to store and transport.

It is waterproof
very useful & practical design
Great for hiking
I thought it was expensive, but it does its job. The fabric is durable. I paid 149.00. A green version of the cover for 100.00 isn't worth it because the fabric is really cheap. That one looks like plastic bags that you stretch and get marks. I noticed that this one looks more like fabric, a canvas with no elasticity. I thought it was good because it's like a poncho. But your hands and arms are a bit unprotected because it's actually a poncho. The bag that comes with it could be better. I've seen another Decathlon product that has a small zippered pocket integrated into the cover. It could have, in addition to a small pocket for the bag, which would be good.

Backside of the raincoat is too short, when you sit in your Scooty your backside became wet in rain.
I had bought several raincoats, a friend recommended the rain poncho, I highly recommend it.
It is easy to store and can also be worn as a backpack. The cut is very suitable for activities.

Waterproofing of the garment
this garment has been validated in a shower test under 4.8'' of rain for 2 hours. This test reproduces the average conditions of a rain shower in the mountains.
Component breathability
Our range of rain ponchos and capes does not have breathable waterproof membranes. We therefore recommend this product when you walk at a gentle relaxed pace rather than a fast hike, in order to reduce sweating!
Component water resistance
A fabric is water repellent when it allows water slide over its surface without seeping in. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight, warm and breathable. The water repellent property is achieved by treating the fabric's exterior. This treatment needs to be renewed throughout the lifetime of the garment (every 3 washes).All the Forclaz ponchos and capes have a water repellent treatment.
Storage instructions
Make sure it is completely dry before folding and storing in its storage bag for long periods.
