Inflates and deflates on its own

After 1 and a half years of very very occasional use. The product inflates by itself in its cover and deflates when you sleep in it. Very average quality. We were delighted for the first 3 to 4 nights of use. I find it expensive to use. especially since we didn't pull the string with the product, and it was used in more than reasonable conditions. Obviously no more tickets...

Purchased in 06.2022. Passed away at the end of April 2024. Used occasionally, on indoor floors, always with padded protection between the floor and the mattress. When inflating to gauge the bedding, I lay down and, not satisfied, I stood up to adjust and this body movement was fatal: Crackling on the seam. I weigh 53kg. I was expecting something more qualitative. Too bad because the bed is quite pleasant. Disassembly is less obvious for me but it's probably child's play for others.

perfect, hardness variable, good insulation

I have been using this self-inflating sleeping mat in my roof tent for two years and I sleep excellently, better than at home. The practical thing is that I can control the firmness by adding more or less air, so I have the right mattress for everyone. I would buy the mattress again at any time. It is just as good as the very similar Outwell product that I also own.

bed you know

We bought the product by choosing it according to all the mats in the store. This product is the bed you know. It was so comfortable that it felt like staying in a hotel while camping. I am a person who is very fond of my comfort and I could not sleep easily in the camp. This bed is perfect, you sleep soundly, and you don't have to worry about carrying a pump. He is swelling. We even used it when the house was crowded. The price is a little high, but it's definitely worth it, it's a lifetime quality, buy it without hesitation. Its only disadvantage is that it takes up a lot of space and when folded, it is difficult to carry it if you do not have a car. I bought the second one too.

Great mattress!

The mattress was very comfortable and inflated relatively quickly. It was comfortable to sleep in, very good quality, solid construction. I highly recommend it. I replaced the camp beds with mattresses and they do the job. A great change. I recommend

Being almost 180 cm tall and weighing 90 kg, I had a big problem with choosing something to sleep on. There were tests on a sleeping pad, self-inflating mats, but thin ones, and tourist mattresses. Unfortunately, despite my efforts and the purchase of equipment that supposedly guaranteed a good night's sleep, every time I slept in a tent I woke up feeling tired and sleep-deprived, and often I got up after two or three hours, and that's it for my sleep. Fortunately, Decathlon came to the rescue with this self-inflating mat. I had no problem sleeping. I woke up refreshed after the trip to Velo Dunajec (I slept in a tent twice). The only thing I could complain about is that after the first use, we are not able to release enough air so that the mat takes up as much space as before use. In addition, there is a problem with transport by bicycle. The mat is quite large. I managed to pack it into a 60l crosso dry bag, which, apart from the mat, also contained a two-person tent, but it probably won't fit there again. The instructions also say that once it inflates itself, three more breaths are enough and the mat can be used, but in my opinion this is a bit untrue, I would rather consider the range of 10-15 as realistic. I highly recommend going to the campsite by car, but if you're riding a bike, you have to consider whether you want to carry such a large item with you. I will definitely run with this mat! Regards

Worked for one trip only

Was great while it stayed up, now it does not hold air. Very disappointed and tired on my week long trip withoit a functioning mat.

The principle of a self-inflating mattress

We advise you to get out and unroll your mattress as soon as you set up camp. Leave the valve open to make pre-inflation easier. A self-inflating mattress inflates itself to about 80%. You will need to blow up the rest yourself, so you can adjust the pressure to your desired comfort level.

Thermal properties and warmth: winter use and in extreme conditions

Since the beginning of 2020, a new standard has been validated to assess the level of insulation of your mattress: standard ASTM F3340-18. This standard measures the capacity of the mattress to retain or return body heat in order to avoid its loss and therefore provide you with thermal comfort.Thermal insulation thanks to the foam.R-Value standard ASTM F3340-18 self-inflating mattress GA ULTIM COMFORT: 8.6 (measured by an independent laboratory)

Thermal properties and warmth (continued)

The R-value expresses the thermal performance and resistance of the mattress. The higher the R-Value, the more the mattress insulates you from the cold ground.- R-value from 0 to 1.9: mattress designed for use in warm season (summer) only- from 2 to 3: mattress design for use in 2 or 3 seasons (spring/summer/autumn)- from 3 to 4: 4 season mattress, winter use possible- higher than 4.5: winter use and extreme conditions

Product testing

Sleep comfort of mattresses is measured by our Research and Development center. All our mattresses undergo mechanical tests that assess their performance and durability to guarantee good sleep and good recovery when camping. Caution: choose your mattress width according to your tent's interior measurements.

Storage instructions

We recommend you store your mattress away from moisture and extreme temperatures.
