Questions & Answers

Look for product information, frequently asked questions, opinions...

Question:

How’s it compared to “shake dry “ from Gorewear? Quality of zipper? Are the wrist bands Velcro? Does it have pockets in back? Will it fit in a jersey pocket? Thanks

Answer:

It is a lightweigh, wind and water resisitant garment. Very good quality, no velocro on the wrist. 1 pocket in the back, and will easily fit in a jersey pocket.

good choice

Practical

recommend

Excellent cape, protects well from the wind during long descents and from not too long rains. The breathability is not very good, if worn for more than 30 minutes you find yourself very damp. However, this is due to the advantageous price compared to the more famous brands. The fit is very slim, I wear an L, but I had to take an XL. The pocket to store it is the only flaw as it is a bit small: it is difficult to fold it inside.

Excellent quality windbreaker

Very good soft and light jacket for cycling or even running. I recommend

Good fit

very compact, breathes well

I don't understand why it's grey, daytime, in a storm outside a residential area, in a storm it's not KRESZ compatible, it needs a special visibility vest. Undersized, I have an XL jacket for 183 cm and 83 kg.

To get out of the way

I urgently needed a raincoat and with this one I was able to get by. It is a bit flawed in that it is not very breathable compared to others I have tried.

Good product

Good product specifically for rain. Racing cut, jersey type, ideal for cycling, without extra length in the lower back area to cover the shorts and splashes from the rear wheel while riding. A bit tight in the chest area, I usually wear a size S and had to buy the M. It does not have access to the pockets of the jersey. It has a small pocket with external access that is used to put the whole rain jacket and carry it in a pocket of the jersey or attach it to the saddle or another part of the bike. Excellent value for money.

Its wind resistance is excellent, it is light

Dirty to some extent, but the rest is fine

nice material but too small size

I wear size L everything I am 1.85m slim and this jacket is too short about 10cm, the material is light but transparent. They take up little space, you can roll them into a ball of 10cm diameter

Lightweight and waterproof. I would have preferred a back pocket with a waterproof closure

Composition

Membrane: 100.0% Polyurethane ; Main fabric: 100.0% Polyamide

Product waterproofing

Waterproofing is a fabric's ability to prevent rain water from passing through. A fabric's waterproofing is determined by measuring its resistance to the pressure exerted by a water column, measured in mm (test based on ISO 811 standard). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. Material with a waterproof rating of 2000 mm resists the pressure exerted by 2000 mm of water (which roughly corresponds to a 2-hour rain shower). Our Ultralight jacket is waterproof up to 2000 mm.

Breathability

To determine whether a fabric is breathable, we measure its evaporative resistance (test based on standard ISO 11092). The lower its resistance, the more the fabric will let water vapor produced by the body escape, and therefore the more breathable it is. For example: RET < 9 = extremely breathable materialThe RET of our Ultralight showerproof jacket is 6.

Product tests

Our team of product designers is based at the B'Twin Village in Lille (France). All year round, we conceive and develop new products that are easy to use, look great, and have the technical features needed for your cycling experiences. They are then mercilessly put to the test by users in the field, as we are convinced that only by subjecting our products to real-world conditions, such as the ones you will experience on your bike, can we continuously improve them.

Care tips

Hand wash only. Turn the article inside out. Use a minimal amount of laundry detergent. Do not use fabric softener. Line dry in a warm, ventilated area. Do not tumble dry. Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach. Do not place on a heater to dry.
