How’s it compared to “shake dry “ from Gorewear? Quality of zipper? Are the wrist bands Velcro? Does it have pockets in back? Will it fit in a jersey pocket? Thanks

It is a lightweigh, wind and water resisitant garment. Very good quality, no velocro on the wrist. 1 pocket in the back, and will easily fit in a jersey pocket.

I can't write anything about its waterproof and breathable properties because I haven't tested it. the jacket has a strange size, I ordered size M (I buy all cycling clothes in this size), unfortunately much too small. I put it on but there was no way to tighten it (I have a normal body type). I returned the jacket and ordered size L. This was a big surprise because I couldn't even put it on my hands. the sleeves in size L were so narrow.

Good product, very compact.

Good product, very compact.

Light, sturdy rain jacket. Recommended.

Very good rain jacket. light and small foldable. If it came in a size larger than 2XL with slightly wider sleeves, I would immediately buy at least one more. I can wear the current 2XL but it is stuck, especially on the arms. Because it is sturdy it does not tear.

Essential when the sky threatens...

The essential full wind/rainbreaker when the sky is threatening. - Does not take up space, waterproof and well cut - It protects perfectly from rain and wind in delicate situations (storms, heavy rain, long descents from the pass, etc.). The storage pocket is really very tight (compared to other garments of this type like the windproof vest for example) - Not super breathable, despite the flaps at the back, but that's the other side of the coin of a membrane waterproof It's not a rain jacket that you put on for the day, but rather the rain jacket that you put on until the storm or the rain passes, or at the start of the outing to warm up when the mornings are very cool.

Good jacket for unstable weather

Good impermeability and good air permeability. The size is a bit tight.

Excellent product, it protects very well from the air when going downhill. I am 1.86 m tall and weigh 65 kg, I chose a size M and it fits perfectly. The only flaw is that the pocket for folding it is too small.

Transportable and efficient

I quickly get hot when I cycle and this jacket, easy to carry once folded, allows you to protect yourself from the rain and the wind but also to keep warm when the temperature drops (between 5-15° in feeling). A very nice jacket.

Product waterproofing

Waterproofing is a fabric's ability to prevent rain water from passing through. A fabric's waterproofing is determined by measuring its resistance to the pressure exerted by a water column, measured in mm (test based on ISO 811 standard). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. Material with a waterproof rating of 2000 mm resists the pressure exerted by 2000 mm of water (which roughly corresponds to a 2-hour rain shower). Our Ultralight jacket is waterproof up to 2000 mm.

To determine whether a fabric is breathable, we measure its evaporative resistance (test based on standard ISO 11092). The lower its resistance, the more the fabric will let water vapor produced by the body escape, and therefore the more breathable it is. For example: RET < 9 = extremely breathable materialThe RET of our Ultralight showerproof jacket is 6.

Product tests

Our team of product designers is based at the B'Twin Village in Lille (France). All year round, we conceive and develop new products that are easy to use, look great, and have the technical features needed for your cycling experiences. They are then mercilessly put to the test by users in the field, as we are convinced that only by subjecting our products to real-world conditions, such as the ones you will experience on your bike, can we continuously improve them.

Care tips

Hand wash only. Turn the article inside out. Use a minimal amount of laundry detergent. Do not use fabric softener. Line dry in a warm, ventilated area. Do not tumble dry. Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach. Do not place on a heater to dry.
