I don't think I'll last 2 hours in a downpour. But this raincut is super practical. It folds up easily and does the job well. For me, depending on the weather, it's in my backpack and ready to do the job while waiting for a coat or something else. Very practical for the price and the service provided.

Missing the system to put it around the waist and I bought this one due to lack of choice in store (only one mode available) the others are on order and the expo models are inaccessible

Honestly very helpful.
This cover is very well made and very practical. One drawback is that it cannot be worn on the belt when folded in its pocket, we are forced to put it in a bag to carry it when it is not on the shoulders.

It would be handy if you could tie the folded bag around your waist
Would be even easier if you could wear the bag around your waist. Now you have to carry it in a bag. (When there is no rain or wind)
That jacket is a joke! It doesn't just let water in through the seams - the entire material absorbs water. I also bought the women's version of the same material and it's the same. Maybe it's fine if you're running to the car in the rain, but anything beyond that, like walking the dog, is completely pointless and just leaves you hot and clammy.

The waterproofing of a fabric by a coating or a membrane is measured in Schmerbers or H20 mm (pressure of a water column). The higher this number, the more waterproof the fabric. This jacket is designed with a waterproof coating (JIS 1092 standard): this component withstands 5000 mm H20 (Schmerber) before washing (i.e. the pressure exerted by a 5-metre water column).
Fabric breathability
Our product fts fabric is extremely breathable - 12 TER The breathability of a component is measured by its InchThermal Evaporative ResistanceInch. This is its capacity to let out water vapour produced by the body during activity. The lower the Thermal Evaporative Resistance (RET) coefficient, the more breathable the fabric. RET < 9 = extremely breathable fabric.RET < 12 = highly breathable fabric.RET < 20 = breathable fabric.RET > 20 = slightly or not breathable fabric.

How to maintain your jacket’s waterproof properties and durability
To maintain a durable water-repellent fabric, we recommend reactivating it regularly. Do this every three washes (it is important to rinse abundantly) or after a dozen uses in the rain. You can easily reactivate the water repellent property by warming the fabric: - in your tumble dryer for 15 minutes (synthetic program) - with a hair dryer at a distance of 20 cm going back and forth twice- or twice over with an iron on the delicate setting without the steam function
