Great backpack!!! Practical and comfortable, used for a 5-day bivouac in complete autonomy.

Large capacity. Well-made and wear-resistant. Interior storage. Comfortable and adaptable to the back with a height-adjustable system.

Very good bag Smart storage Waist belt not padded enough to the end and buckled a little light (deformation with the weight hiking in total autonomy on the GR34)

I bought the same one 2 years ago and I'm more than happy with the improvements I've made. The frame is different from the old model, so it's comfortable to wear. Perhaps more padding could be added to the shoulders; that's the only area I haven't yet seen improved. Otherwise, the capacity is truly exceptional.

Effective in all respects for hiking, thank you

Does its job but really too heavy after my last outing. Pockets everywhere and useful. Given for 2kg700 weighed on my scale with 500g extra?

Excellent value for money. Durable materials, plenty of storage, 10-year warranty. Top notch! Tested on a 24-hour trek, carrying the heavy load (28 kg) and it worked! Perhaps in addition: a separate bottom of the bag from the main pocket that could be opened from above would be great.

mt 900 symbium review

Hello, I bought this bag to go bivouacking. I just got back from a 3-day bivouac. I previously had a forglaz50 easyfit that I rinsed well after a lot of bivouacking and hiking, so crossing Reunion Island, etc. It was quite comfortable, even for the adjustments, but I limited you in weight. I am still disappointed with the mt 900 symbium regarding the morphology adjustments, even though I am 1.80m tall, normal size! The adjustment of the shoulder straps in relation to the pelvis is very complicated, even impossible to do something effective when you have 19 kg in the bag. There is a big problem with the adjustment tightening at the shoulders, the strap rubs on the end of the wood of the back protectors, which causes premature wear and tear, and eventually breaks, not to mention the annoying noise made by the friction. If possible, I would like to send you a photo of the problem!! Apart from this major problem, the fabric and all the storage are very good. I do not recommend this product in relation to the price. Thank you for following up on my thoughts.

Comfortable bag, allow time to adjust it to your back and be careful not to overload it The price is not justified in my opinion.

Overall, it's a very good bag. It's very well organized inside and out, with lots of storage. The straps could be a little more comfortable against the skin (compared to the Forclaz 45+10 women's bag).

Not recommended for bivouacking

Already tested at the meeting for 2 days in bivouac and already problems. But hey I wanted to give it another chance and I just tested it in situation on a trek of 150 km in steep environment in Tenerife in bivouac. Complete bag with 3l of water, 18kg.. a real hell to carry. I tested all the settings and nothing worked. Absolutely not designed for that because very very uncomfortable. I recommend it for simple hike with a maximum load of 13 to 14 kg. Bag still very practical for all its storage and opening in suitcase mode.

AT THE TOP

I just bought this. I tried it out on a short hike, charging it a bit to test it. I'm delighted with it... next step: going camping with it...

MR

Kudos to the project team. I had written off the old version, which was missing far too many features compared to what was available elsewhere. But I'm hooked with this version. It has everything: top and bottom openings, and a compartment for rain gear. There are a few small things to tweak. I would have liked slightly larger side straps to fit my foam mattress. It's possible, but it's still tight. 5 more centimeters would have been really great. If you find a poncho compatible with this bag, I'm all ears! PS: As I write this comment, I realize you even thought of the water tube outlet on both sides of the bag. Really, thank you.

What is symbium technology?

Symbium technology is all about optimising the structure of the waist belt and shoulder straps. This prevents the backpack from swinging around, which wears out the trekker.

How was this 70 l trekking bag made?

The Symbium trekking bag is built to withstand over time: - Durable main fabric, also added to the side pockets and the most prone to wear. - The assembly of the various parts of this bag has been tested to withstand high tension, particularly when it is filled, or to be manipulated repeatedly.- Redesigned zip thickness to improve strength and durability.- Repairable bag: spare parts available.

What are the advantages of the wooden structure on this trekking backpack?

The construction of these wooden bars is stronger than traditional aluminium bars. They are resistant to moisture thanks to an external varnish.

Is this trekking bag repairable?

The MT900 Symbium bag is ultra-durable but will not last forever. That is why we have developed a range of spare parts to make it last for longer: - Shoulder straps- Waist belt- Waist belt's foam pad- Elastic bands- Buckles- Rain coverFind all the information in the after-sales support section (bottom of the page).
