Optimal
It came in handy during cold nights in a tent.
The hat is nice, but not so soft, which I didn't expect from merino wool. For colder days, it can be easily packed in a backpack. Works well in combination with a neck brace.
Hat on holiday to Iceland early in the season, so quite cold there. I didn't take them off my head for 3 weeks. A lovely hat, compact, light and therefore handy to lose in a jacket pocket or trouser pocket, pleasantly warm, even with the ever-present cold and sometimes icy wind in Iceland. Unfortunately I forgot my hat on a bus trip there, but once I got home, I immediately bought a new one. It has become an indispensable item that travels with you on every active holiday.
I feel comfortable with this hat. Especially it protects me from the wind.
The only thing worth mentioning is that it is light and does not squeeze. On the other hand, it is not a hat to keep the cold away, but rather to cover the head.

The hat is comfortable and soft. Used, washed and tumble dried many times and still looks good. A product worth recommending. The only change I can think of is a wider selection of colors.

Origin of the wool
We only use wool from Merino sheep bred on farms in South Africa that do not practice mulesing.
