How would this jacket be for golf Forclaz Men's 3-in-1 Waterproof Travel Backpacking Jacket or do you suggest a different jacket?
Answer:
It depends on the weather you are playing in. This is a very warm jacket so I would only recommend it for golf if you are playing in cold and rainy conditions. Our MH900 Lightweight Windproof Jacket is a light windbreaker that would work well if it isn't super cold, or any of our lighter fleeces.

It is against the cold that this 3 in 1 jacket is suitable both for traveling and hiking. Not necessarily very breathable, it has good waterproofing characteristics and the ventilation under the arms does the job. Large number of pockets so practical!

Perfectly suited to my country walking needs
Tried for the first time at an altitude of 1700 m during a walk through snow ice and mountain pines, fantastic hold, do not cover them too much underneath, a thermal shirt from Decathlon is enough, too much stuff underneath will make you sweat immediately. Very warm
I haven’t worn them out yet, but I felt very warm when I tried them on. I hope I can survive going to Alaska.
Great jacket, zippers are well sealed, the high collar for the hat is fine. Maybe the lining in the jacket pockets should come back (for hand warmth)

Excellent product. Jacket useful for any situation, especially for the possibility of removing or putting back its down jacket when necessary.
Excellent value for money
The buttons that hold the lining in the sleeves come undone a little too easily, probably because of the elastic that closes the sleeve. A double zip allowing opening from the bottom or the top would be a very appreciable plus.
Great jacket. Protects from intense cold. Very comfortable.

3-in-1 concept for adapting to every situation
With its “3-in-1” system, the jacket is ideal for cold conditions (down to -10°C) as well as hot weather trips, as you can leave the inner layer at home, taking only the rain coat. You can also wear the inner fleece on its own as a mid-layer over a T-shirt. With just one jacket, you therefore get 3 options!
Sizing information
Standard cut. Inner volume lets you wear a second technical layer underneath, such as a microfleece top.
Adjustment
The hood is adjustable in height and depth thanks to an elastic drawcord. The storm-type hood is very enveloping and equipped with a preformed visor for maximum face protection.The bottom of the jacket is adjustable thanks to an elastic cord.The cuffs are adjustable using the rip-tabs.
Pocket system
2 hand pockets + 2 chest pockets. All pockets feature waterproof zips.2 zipped pockets on the inner jacket.
Removable padded jacket
The inner padded jacket is easy and quick to remove, thanks to a zip system. It can be worn alone and has 2 hand pockets, as well as a secure inside pocket.

The waterproofness of a fabric, provided by a coating or membrane, is measured in Schmerber or mm H²0 (pressure exerted by a column of water). The higher this number, the more waterproof the fabric.
