Brilliant little tent

My son took this tent and used it for 5 days. This tent is fantastic spacious for 1 person, easy to put up and once you have watched a few tutorials on how to take it down its easy. This tent also stood up to the rain and kept my son dry and warm with no leaks at all. I would definitely recommend for 1 adult at a push you could get 2 adults for a few nights not a problem.

Great little tent

Easy to put up and take down. Not used it yet as I bought it to use at the end of this month. Practised putting it up in my living room 😁

Ideal if you are in the shade, unfortunately not great if in full sun. The rest, as usual, great to open, 5 minutes to close (alone).

Excellent materials and design. It actually takes a few seconds to open, not two but about twenty, which are still very few. To close it, however, you have to work a little harder, and it takes a couple of minutes, especially the first few times, which are still very acceptable. I would favor a little more ventilation, which is guaranteed on the back only by a window that is too small.

I've had it for...7 years and it's still working!

A little difficult at first but when you look at the instructions you get there, nice tent

First the negative: when it rains, you have to be quick when getting in and out, as the design lets in the rain. You should definitely practice taking it down a couple of times to get the hang of it. On the positive side, we've had constant rain several times over the last two years and the tent has remained completely waterproof. Setting it up isn't worth mentioning, and taking it down, once you know how, is quick and easy. Plenty of room for one person, and enough space for two. The quality is also impeccable; I've used the tent in all seasons and it still looks as good as new. After cleaning it, of course. If I ever break it, I'd buy it again. Or rather, the successor model. Regards.

Very good quality of products

An unexpected emergency shelter! ❤️

I had the very first model of this version, which only came in a 2-second, 2-person format. It was much bulkier when folded, with thicker and heavier poles... but so innovative! Solid! And reliable even in heavy rain. That was about twenty years ago, on a hill in the Alpes-Maritimes. We had taken out the Decathlon tent just in case, but we were off for a night under the stars, far from the roads... We were caught in a veritable deluge of rain and hail during the night! Five of us crammed inside! And we even managed to sleep. It was almost funny, considering it was designed for two people. Bivouacking isn't always synonymous with comfort, but rather with unforgettable and often fun adventures afterward! If I had to do it all over again, I would choose the same model! In fact, it's evolved a lot since then! The first 2-second version for two people was almost the same size as a 3-seater when folded. We called it the "Parabole" 😅 I kept it for about fifteen years, used it extensively, dragged everywhere, and it was the zipper that finally broke, because of the sand we get along the rivers of the southeast and the sea... A brand, a pioneer that has never been equaled, with exceptional quality! I recommend it without reservation!

Nice tent and quite practical

Additional Product Information

Composition

Double roof: 100.0% Polyester ; Inner fabric: 100.0% Polyester ; Floor mat: 100.0% Polyethylene ; Pole: 100.0% Glass Fiber ; Carry bag: 100.0% Polyester

Pitching/folding

Quick installation. Free-standing tent (place it wherever you like, and if there fts no wind, no need for pegs = ready to use!). Easy folding using our InchEasy Inch guiding system.

Ventilation

1 upper rear air vent and 2 spaces between the flysheet and the ground on either side in the middle of the room to allow air to circulate and keep the natural build-up of condensation to a minimum.

Sun protection

The flysheet fabric filters UV rays with a UPF of 30. Please note: a large amount of UV can pass through a simple open door: protect your skin.

Waterproofing

All Quechua tents are laboratory-tested (entire tent under 200 L/sqm/h for 4 hours) as well as field-tested. (2000 mm PU-coated polyester flysheet, 4.2 oz/sqm polyethylene groundsheet, all seams are sealed with thermobonded tape). A breathable polyester bedroom under the flysheet means you don't come into contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the fly sheet.

Wind resistance

We test all of our tents in a wind tunnel with a rotary table to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A properly assembled tent with all the guy ropes properly positioned around the tent should remain habitable in wind speeds of up to 30 mph measured near ground level (Force 6).

Guarantee

All tents sold at Decathlon are guaranteed for 2 years of normal use (your club card or till receipt are proof of purchase). In case of any problems, please reach out to customer service.

Storage instructions
