Despite being made specifically for women this bag was still far too big for me as the shoulder straps wouldn't adjust anywhere near enough, otherwise it would've fitted perfectly. I'm 5ft 2 so not far off average height.
Solid, practical, lightweight
I have used this bag on several trips within Japan and although the concept of a suitcase bag that passes as cabin baggage is interesting, this bag has several drawbacks. First, the empty weight is too high. This affects the comfort when carrying the bag, and this poses a problem in terms of the weight restriction for cabin baggage. It is all well and good to have a bag that is the perfect size to pass in the cabin but if in the end you cannot fill it because it is too heavy, it is useless. Another problem that I noted is that in terms of comfort and ergonomics when carried, this bag is far from being the best that I have had on my back. If you plan to walk in the city, it is fine, but do not imagine wearing it while hiking: you will quickly regret your choice. In conclusion, I think that I would have done better to buy a hiking bag that I find more comfortable and more versatile. However, for backpackers who mainly plan to visit cities, I think this bag is quite suitable, except for the weight. (PS: I may find the bag uncomfortable due to my small stature. It would also be relevant to offer the bag in several sizes, instead of a single "adaptable" size which in reality has limits for the extremes)

I bought this bag in 2019 to travel the world, go on adventures... as its description indicates. A true backpacker's bag! I was won over by its ergonomics, its price, and the 10-year warranty offered by Decathlon! After 5 years of use, including occasional trips, the zipper seam came loose mid-trip. I took the bag back to the store where I bought it, along with my receipt, but what a surprise when they refused to cover the warranty... Indeed, the department manager told me that this bag wasn't a travel bag, but a trekking bag (even though it's called TRAVEL...) and therefore it should NOT be carried in the hold!!! Apparently not very familiar with what backpacking entails, it took me several minutes of negotiation to get him to agree to put my bag under warranty as a purely commercial gesture... So I'm wondering if this warranty isn't simply false advertising to attract customers... In any case, this bag is excellent for traveling, but be aware that if you put it in the hold of an airplane, this could void your 10-year warranty!

Begin by adjusting the lumbar belt. The bag's weight should sit mainly on your hips. Then tighten the shoulder straps to bring the bag's weight towards your back. Attach and tighten the chest strap then tighten the smaller straps above the shoulders so that the back sits perfectly on your back.

The backpack has a rain cover to protect the contents of your bag when it rains.This same cover will protect your bag in transit. By tightening the strap, you can completely cover your bag to protect it.
