An ideal baselayer giving warmth whilst not causing overheating
Good thing about this is it’s not itchy, which is what merino is supposed to be. It’s very thin, I doubt it’ll keep you warm, but then again I expect this to function as a base layer for moisture wicking, not warmth. However, what let’s this down is that after going in the wash at 20 degrees Celsius with minimal spin and dried flat, it shrunk so my sleeves end in the middle of my forearms. Disappointed.
The product is described as 100% Merino. It isn't, it's 86% Merino. This being the case the product doesn't justify the cost, it's poor value.

Perfect, you can wear it for several days hiking without it giving off any smell of perspiration, perspiration dries very quickly.
Size too small. If you are a size M, take a size L.

Comfortable and warm Much appreciated
Runs really small. Size M is more like an S. If you plan to buy one, keep that in mind. Otherwise, a good point for Decathlon, the T-shirt is made of 100% merino wool (but where does the wool come from, New Zealand?) and above all it is made in Europe in Portugal, hoping that Portuguese workers are less exploitable than Chinese Uighurs.

Can get quite damp if you sweat a lot. I've had better merino shirts in this regard. Very warm though!
fantastic merino wool underwear, does its job, after intense use it does not release odors
The product is really great. However, I only used it for one day, checked the washing conditions and the product still felted with a wash at 30 and a spin at 400 rpm as recommended on the site. I find it really limited for a garment at €55 for a single use

Reduction of the freezing effect
When you make a physical effort and sweat heavily, the merino wool easily traps the insulating warm air and can absorb up to 35% of its weight in moisture without making you feel damp, which is appreciable in cool weather. In hot, dry weather, the evaporation of the water in the wool absorbs energy, which cools the body slightly at the same time.Conversely, a synthetic material lets the body temperature go back down again faster.
Tip before use
For a softer feel, wash your t-shirt before first use.
How to wash your t-shirt made with merino wool?

Product testing
We've tested the material in a climate-controlled chamber in order to determine its performance level. The results highlighted the heat-regulation properties of wool. Indeed, after making a physical effort and sweating a lot, wool helps to maintain a consistent body temperature while synthetic fabrics cool down faster. The unpleasant cooling or freezing effect is therefore reduced by the merino wool.
