Exactly what I need. Very useful for those who are cycling to work on rainy days.
Not great if rain is constant
Not waterproof
Very good raincoat, size suitable for a 180cm/110kg person + 40l backpack. A bit of a problem with throwing it on but you can get used to it :) Comfortable cut, as for breathability it is difficult for me to assess because I used it during mountain trekking, which caused a lot of moisture from my body. All-day hiking in the rain was even comfortable.
High-quality material, it has already been through a lot and is still intact, it serves very well.

We haven't tried it in the rain yet, but the material looks sturdy and of good quality.
This poncho is not practical to put on and is not suitable for a 50L backpack. It is much too short at the back.
Overall it's good. Possible progression delta on: - weight (when hiking, every gram counts) - a total opening at the front would be great!

Ideal rain protection for hikers between 5 ft2 Inch and 5 ft8 Inch (S/M) or 5 ft9 Inch and 6 ft3 Inch (L/XL), designed to accommodate a backpack up to 60 liters.The adjustable hood features an elastic drawcord with a toggle for a secure fit, while the elastic-bound cuffs keep rain from sneaking into your sleeves.With a long front zipper, this rain cape is quick and easy to pull on or off, even over your head.

To complete your outfit, we recommend overtrousers or waterproof gaiters to fully protect your lower legs. For greater breathability, the waterproof hat can also be attached to the poncho!
Component waterproofing
We measure a fabric's resistance to water pressure, expressed in terms of the height of a water column in mm (based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the water pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. Components scoring 2000 mm can resist the pressure from 2000 mm of water (which is equivalent to a rain shower lasting two hours).
Waterproofing of the garment
This garment has been validated in a shower test under 60 litres of water / m² / hour for 2 hours. This test reproduces the average conditions of a rain shower in the mountains.
Component breathability
Our rain poncho and cape ranges do not come with a waterproof/breathable membrane.Therefore, we recommend calm, gentle use to reduce perspiration rather than fast hiking!
Component water resistance
The water-repellent property of a fabric is its capacity to make water run off its surface without absorbing it. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight, warm and breathable. The water repellent property is achieved by treating the fabric's exterior. This treatment needs to be renewed throughout the lifetime of the garment (every 3 washes). All Quechua ponchos and capes have a water-repellent treatment.
Care
We recommend you use a re-waterproofing product (spray or liquid)To renew the fabric's water repellent-properties and optimise the garment's performance throughout its lifetime.
