First new bike for many years, first with DI2, first with disc brakes. Very fast, very comfortable apart from the saddle which I cannot get on with. Swapped for another Fizik I got from the Wiggle closedown which is so much better for me. The paint does chip quite easily unfortunately so you do need to be extremely careful with it. The aero bar is great but I haven’t found a front light to fit it yet so am just relying on the Cyclic Fly 12 camera light but would prefer something more powerful. Great bike overall and am very pleased with it.

Excellent bike in every way: ultra light, very dynamic and exceptionally rigid, it is the best bike I have ever owned! Gain of 15 W uphill and almost 20 W on the flat! It is a real dream bike!

Great bike but catastrophic after-sales service: carbon fiber in the bottom bracket came loose. After 15 days, still no response from Van Rysel. AtelierDecathlon was unable to remove the bottom bracket, so I had to do it myself; very disappointed to have spent €9,000 on a bike and not be able to use it during the competition period.
Bought in Mao 2024 after hesitating a lot with Aeroad CFR but the stock game and 1000euros difference made me take the plunge. to be honest, I'm not a fan of the light blue color of the front or the white Van Rysel markings but overall it's a beautiful bike, very balanced. And when you ride, it takes on its full dimension. I came from a canyon endurace, less sporty but already efficient and the difference is very clear, on the flat as well as uphill, I love the position, the nervousness and this narrow handlebar. In addition, very good service at D4 Wagram. No regrets in 3,000kms.

perfect bike in M (1m82). The problem mainly comes from the spare parts and maintenance. Be careful, the after-sales service is provided by the D4 cycle workshop, so we have enthusiasts who are perfect and ... the others who have never had a high-end bike in their hands. Conclusion: bike blocked for 1 month because a screw thread was too tight and a damaged nut (without a torque wrench). In Tarbes: be careful!! Already 7000km in 7 months (races and training), nervous, comfortable, flat, mountain .... when there are no Watts, it's not the bike's fault ;-)

Yes, I treated myself to it and it is my first top bike in this price range. After the first 500 km or so, here are my first impressions: If you are looking for a road bike that is designed for speed, you should definitely consider the VR RCR Pro if you can still get one... It convinced me from the start in terms of handling: on flat terrain it felt much faster than any bike I have ridden before, the quick acceleration, the absolutely brilliant rolling behavior thanks to the fast wheels, the rigidity on fast descents, etc. It is also one of the most beautiful bikes on the road. My conclusion: I would buy it again without hesitation.
This bike is vice world champion 2024, only pleasure on board, not much more to add, congratulations to the Van Rysel team

What's the difference between the rcr and the rcr pro?
What makes a carbon frame is its geometry, its shapes and its layup. The layup is how the carbon fibres are assembled. Not all fibres have the same properties. On the frame of the RCR, we only use high-modulus fibres. On the RCR PRO, we've chosen exceptional fibres that make the bike stiffer in the areas that are put under the most stress and that slightly reduce the weight. The RCR PRO is ready to compete at the highest level.
