Great bike at a great price, I've been using it for over a year, since then I've only replaced the tires and chain, the Zipp wheels are amazing, the paint is unfortunately quite delicate and susceptible to scratches. You have to choose the size very carefully, you can't be guided by the manufacturer's size chart - it's very underestimated. Size S in this frame corresponds to M in other manufacturers. The reach is very long here, I recommend taking smaller sizes! I recommend the bike :)

Excellent bike, not disappointed with my purchase. It rides fast and well. Zipp 303 at the top, inflated to 5 bars max.

Delighted with the quality and design of the product. Regrets: the length of the cranks for Xs. Bike heavier than my full carbon with 7 kilo calipers.

The bike itself is very good, although the group brings the configuration down a little (but also the price, I imagine). The assembly is beyond reproach (I admit to having been afraid when reading some testimonials). The biggest problem is the impossibility of testing the equipment and getting really specific advice. In my case, I was between 2 sizes M and L (I measure 1.81). I will never know if I made the right choice by opting for the M. A test would have immediately enlightened me.

Unbeatable value for money for my new going-out partner.

I've been riding my new bike for a month now. I'm really happy with it. The equipment, the 48/35 crankset and the 10/36 cassette allow me to climb the passes at speed and on the flat the 48 is perfect. The wheels are very good, the frame is great, the weight, 8.2 kg, my old bike weighed 6.8 kg, and well I climb better with the Van Ryssel (last outing 20 km of climbing all at super speed) the same on the flat with the Zip wheels and the 28 tires are impeccable. Frankly, the weight is not felt

Very good bike. Very responsive and unbeatable value for money. The SRAM Rival groupset works wonderfully for me, who has been using Shimano groupsets for years.

Very good bike. The price/quality ratio is excellent. I took a size M (1.83 m) and I sit really well on the bike. A real pleasure to ride. Used on flat / small hills. The performance is excellent.

Satisfied even though at first I had trouble adapting because the bike was too big for my height. An XXS would probably have been better suited. I changed the stem, and made adjustments to be better positioned.

Disappointed by the build quality for a €4,000 bike I bought this RCR at Decathlon in Betton, impressed by its design and high-end components. It was the first time I had purchased a road bike from Decathlon, as I usually shop at specialist stores. I wanted to try the Decathlon alternative, attracted by their Van Rysel range... but unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to my expectations. From the first few turns of the wheel, I noticed friction between the front brake disc and the pads. An unpleasant noise and resistance, clearly perceptible even at low speed. I brought the bike back to the store. The diagnosis: slightly warped front disc... and nothing to do according to the technician. I was advised to wait for a possible break-in. For a new bike at €4,000, this is hardly acceptable. I've ridden 160 kilometers, and the problem persists. Although the staff was welcoming, I was not offered any concrete solutions. No exchange, no adjustment, no handling of the problem. For this price, you expect impeccable assembly quality and rigorous inspection upon leaving the workshop. I understand the ambition to offer premium bikes, but this must be accompanied by a real level of requirement, both in assembly and in after-sales service. I hope this feedback will help Decathlon improve its offering.

Very happy with this RCR, there is nothing to say, a joy to ride

After a first crack in the bottom bracket after only two rides, Decathlon did not provide me with any solution. In order to ride safely, I had to take the bike to the carbon frame repairer certified for Scott. A year later, a new crack in the frame reappeared in the bottom bracket, in an even more dangerous position. I am preparing for an ultra bike race with this bike where safety is paramount. I am therefore waiting again for feedback from Decathlon regarding the potential specific defects on the XXS model which put the cyclist in danger.

Unbeatable value for money with such equipment. Very good bike.

Very good bike, it's a d4! Unbeatable value for money. Be careful, I find it runs large. At 1.73m, I ordered a S, maybe I should have ordered an XS. Delivery to the Amiens store was very good. PLEASE NOTE: On this "color," there are visible "stains" due to the raw carbon effect, stains that are not visible in the image or specified in the description. Noise appeared at the front after a month; I'll check with the workshop. The d4's weak point, unfortunately, remains the workshop.

Frame (for bike): 100.0% Carbon

The rcr range

The RCR range is a real treat for cyclists who want a complete bike with no compromises. For this bike, performance was our priority. The cross-sections of every tube have been calculated to be as efficient as possible in the main wind angles (-15°/+15°).This bike falls within the Inchlightweight aero Inch category of bikes, offering the perfect balance between weight, rigidity and aerodynamics, resulting in an exceptional bike.If you want a bike designed to win races, look no further than the RCR

What's the difference between the rcr and the rcr pro

What makes a carbon frame is its geometry, its shapes and its layup. The layup is how the carbon fibres are assembled. Not all fibres have the same properties. On the frame of the RCR, we only use high-modulus fibres. On the RCR PRO, we've chosen exceptional fibres that make the bike stiffer in the areas that are put under the most stress and that slightly reduce the weight. The RCR PRO is ready to compete at the highest level.

A closer look at the frame

The RCR's frame weighs 830 g (painted) in size M The RCR Pro's frame weighs 790 g (painted) in size M The RCR's fork weighs 380 g (painted) in size MThe frame can take tyres up to 33 mm wide. There may be slight variations in weight depending on the colour (+/- 50 g).

Cockpit

We've cleverly integrated the parts of the headset so that the RCR steers smoothly while remaining easy to maintain.DEDA x VAN RYSEL Superbox EVO: the stem is lightweight yet sufficiently rigid XXS: 70 mmXS: 80mmS: 90 mmM: 100 mmL: 110 mmXL: 120 mm Deda Superhero RS (carbon) handlebarHandlebar width: XXS: 380 mmXS/S: 400 mmM/L: 420 mmXL: 440 mm

Drive train maintenance

Please note that it is important to regularly service your drive train, especially if you ride in difficult conditions (wet and/or dirty roads).Regular maintenance will help your drive train to last for longer. You should regularly check your chain with our chain wear indicator, which is available on our website.

Lifespan of a drive train

When buying a bike, it's important to take into account the cost of servicing it, especially as regards the drive train. The amounts below are averages and are given so that you have a general idea of what to expect. They will of course vary depending on the care you take of your drive train. The average lifespan of a well-maintained chain is 5000 km.The average lifespan of a cassette is 10,000-12,000 km.A poorly maintained chain can jump, which can damage your bike's frame.

Disc brakes

SRAM Rival disc brakes with 160 mm discs at the front and 140 mm at the back. The SRAM Rival brakes are hydraulic. This gives you progressive, more powerful braking than with cable-actuated hydraulic brakes. You will need to bed these brakes in. Simply brake gradually 20 times at a low speed (20 km/h), then repeat at 30 km/h. Make sure to bed in both brakes.Bedding in creates more friction between the disc and brake pad.

Guarantee

Our carbon frames and forks come with a 5-year warranty.
