Purchased this cap for warm weather as normal baseball caps my head over heats, the mesh really helps, and still protects your head from the sun.
I purchased this during a heatwave in the UK and it was great so I purchased another for wearing at work, an excellent product.
Good stuff
So good I bought a 2nd! Light, really shapes to your head without any pressure points. Easily adjusted for secure fit. Even great in elevated winds. Had no problem with a recent coastal walk along East Coast near to Whitby. Oh they wash well also.

A cap!
Whoever designed this cap has either a very small head or has never worn it. It is like a skull cap with half the depth of any normal baseball type cap it wouldn't stay on my head for 5 minutes in town let alone if I was on a hiking trail. Worst cap I have ever purchased, can't even be bothered to send it back.

I have a tiny head so I love how this is adjustable to fit alot of head sizes. Its really lightweight and can be folded quite small for easy carrying in hiking bag.
I have not used this baseball cap yet but it is very lightweight and comfortable. I adjusted the band and it fits perfectly. I am looking forward to using it especially on a hotter day as the ventilation will be really good.
First time buying from Decathalon... Needed a baseball type cap that was breathable for the hot weather, this fits the bill. great quality, lightweight, looks good IE not cheap looking, and above all fits my small head... just buy it.
It's light and my head feels nice and cool on warm days. I really like the fit. It's slightly on the smaller side which suits my head.

Is my cap anti-uv?
Although the main fabric offers good protection against UV rays with a UPF greater than 50 (only allowing one fiftieth of the sun's rays to penetrate), under current regulations this cap cannot be regarded as anti-UV as it does not cover the back of the neck and because the vents are made from openwork fabric which does not block out UV rays.
How do you measure a fabric's quick drying capacity?
The product is machine washed 3 times then line dried, then we immerse it in water and measure how long it takes to get back to its pre-wash weight.This cap scored an impressive 5 out of 5 stars, returning to its pre-washed weight less than 80 minutes!
Additional resistance thanks to the crosshatch fabric
The crosshatched fabric is a mesh-type fabric. The warp and weft design helps ensure durability and prevent potential tears and stop tears. It is therefore particularly durable compared to a smooth canvas, for example.
