The mattress has proven itself on many trips: when rolled up it doesn't take up much space and is quite light, and when inflated it is more comfortable than a sleeping mat and insulates better from the ground.
I bought this mattress to use in a campsite located more than 5,000 km from our country. Everything was fine and dandy until I got to inflate it. It had a defect on the edge and did not hold the air in it for even 5 minutes. You will realize that I did not bring it back to return it. This time, only 1 star...

Comfortable, compact and lightweight mattress, easy to carry for camping on foot. Good value for money in Italy where it was sold 12€ cheaper than in France, but I think it was a promotion :)
After trying the mattress on a bike trip, I thought about the possibility of having an inflatable pillow, which would allow this mattress to be inflated, while having the possibility of being used as a pillow. This would avoid humidity linked to the exhaled air in the mattress, and to have a pillow with it. I am very satisfied with this mattress which corresponds to what I was looking for!

I am 176cm tall and I exchanged L for XL which I recommend for greater comfort. It is easy to inflate, and a great idea with the possibility of adjusting the inflation as you lie down. Thanks to this, you will definitely find a comfortable hardness for yourself. It is light and compact, and it insulates well from the ground.

How to choose the size of your mt500 mattress
This model is available in L and XL version. The difference between the 2 sizes on the length (180 cm for the L; 195 Cm for the XL) and width (52 cm for size L; 60 cm for the XL).To choose the mattress that best suits you, you must consider your stature, but not just that. Your preference and/or your preference for space around your shoulders should also be considered. So, even if you are 1.75 cm, you will prefer the XL!
Tips for sleeping well on your mattress

The R-Value is a measure of the thermal insulation. It measures the ability of a mattress to retain or prevent heat from escaping from a warm body (human body) to a cold floor.The higher the R-Value, the better the insulation of the mattress.Please note that the R-Values can be added; this means that you can use two mattresses and add their R-Values.All our mattresses are tested to standard ASTM F3340-18.
