We do not have recommendeds weight capacity for our backpacks. However, the fabric of the bag is ultra resistant and Decathlon is proud to offer this warranty for any defect that could appear in the next 10 years. A very comfortable and spacious pack, and the clamshell opening is a game changer! I'm not sure how Decathlon can produce something so effective this cheaply, but if you're after this size of bag either for hiking or travelling, you won't find a better example, certainly at this price. The harness system is probably the most comfortable in my collection.
I got two of these, one for my 16yo and one for myself, to use on a safari trip to Tanzania. They both survived airline handling with no obvious damage and in use were comfortable and easy to carry. We specifically chose the size due to weight and dimension restrictions on internal flights and these were perfect for the job and very good quality at the price!
We decided to give these a punt on our 6 month Asia travel trip, even though they were a lot cheaper than most travel rucksacks. I can honestly say they were perfect. Even though they’ve been chucked around on 12 different flights, and across 10 different countries, there’s not one rip or tear. We filled them to the brim and all the zips held up. We just couldn’t be happier with them! I hope to continue using this on many travel trips in the future!

Not the highest capacity but can fit most of the essentials, rugged enough but I wouldn't go scraping it along the floor Brilliant for hiking as it's lighter than other bergens

Completely my mistake, they could have kept my money and said 'the sacs here when you want it' Instead they 'said simply don't collect it. Love the design of the bag, very convenient that it has a zip to open it from the side as well as from the top, the back support is very good, the quality of the material feels solid. Overall a very good backpack for the price, recommended.

I cannot recommend more - have used for a few camping/festival trips now and it’s perfect for my needs. There are endless pockets and attachment points, and the best feature is the large zip around the front to open it out fully for easy packing and access. No more blind rummaging for items fallen to the bottom of the bag!
I did a wild camp recently and found my current 35 Litre sac just a little too small for what I was carrying. This Forclaz 50 Litre is just perfect. For £40.00 it's incredible value considering its features and build.
Durable and useful, not only very successful in high performance waist and sweat
If you are climbing and descending in difficult conditions, get this bag, it is great. I made all my friends buy it. Since the zipper opens completely, you can reach everything without messing up the bag. I can say it is durable and versatile.
I got it on sale 2 years ago, I've been to many places, but now I went on a 4-day camping trip with 3-4 hours of hiking on the 3rd day, a total of about 9 to 12 hours. I loaded it with 23 kilos and with a lot of stuff tied to the outside + a 10-liter backpack on the top elastic band, and the backpack didn't suffer at all for 50 liters and for the price, I highly recommend it.

Capacity
50 L volume. The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardised method. we use small balls to fill the main compartment as well as each pocket. The balls are then emptied into a graduated container in order to determine the equivalent volume in litres, with a margin of error of just a few %.
How do i fill my bag for optimal comfort?
Put your bedding at the bottom. Put heavy gear (tent, camp stove, food) near your back. Store your clothing around it. A groundsheet or tent can be placed under the flap or under the bag if there isn't room inside. Keep your waterproof jacket and fleece to hand. Place small items for daily use (sun cream, map, glasses etc.) in the pockets. The water bladder can be placed in the compartment provided down the back.
Recommended carry weight
According to the project for which this backpack was designed, we recommend you don’t load it above 15 kg. Then you can benefit from all its features. Moreover, it’s not recommended to carry a load greater than 20-25% of your own weight and put too much pressure on your back.
How do i adjust my backpack?
Loosen all the straps (shoulder straps, belt, load adjuster straps).First, adjust the height of the backpack.Put the backpack on. PLACE THE BELT ON YOUR HIPS (it should cover your pelvic bones) and TIGHTEN. Tighten the shoulder straps. Tighten the chest strap.Adjust the load adjuster straps to bring the weight of the bag close to you.The straps should cover the shoulders without pushing hard. If needed, adjust the back to make it shorter or longer.
