It is recommended to have a footprint that is slightly smaller than your tent so the water doesn't pool. I recommend this model 1163704.

Big, dark, comfortable, well designed
It has been with me for a few years. It was quite complicated when first disassembled, but once you get the hang of it, it's in its cover in 20 seconds, ready to go. A real pleasure.
Why didn't I buy it before?
Great tent, used in my case by two people, small vestibule works great for storing shoes backpacks. Very warm, in summer, at night at 10 degrees, I slept without a sleeping bag
Easy to transport and assemble, spacious, a purchase I do not regret. Can't wait for next summer!!!
Great for kids. You have to watch videos for folding though.

This tent is, as promised, easy to pitch and lovely to sleep in - the blackout isn't complete but that's fine. Getting it back in the bag at the end is a complete nightmare! It was fine on the practise run in the garden but having been pitched for a few days it's a different matter! I watched the video, step by step, but it doesn't fold neatly and ends up much too big. Not a big enough problem to return it, but really disappointing as it ruins the end of every trip and I will think twice before buying anything else from this range.

This is probably my best purchase at Decathlon. The tent is very quick to set up and fold, perfect for trips out of town.
Good product
easy to set up, you have to get the hang of folding it up but it's quite easy to do. I recommend it
Spacious tent, but bulky when folded, you have to know that. The Black and Fresh is very appreciable. I am very happy with it despite the return of the first one which was damaged.
The ventilation is really a big plus during the day. Easy to set up and store. Easy to dry.

Pitching/folding
Quick to pitch. Free-standing tent (place it wherever you like, and if there's no wind, no need for pegs = ready to use!). Easy to fold thanks to the Easy guiding system.
Mattress compatibility
We recommend you use the tent with the self-inflating or backpacking mattress measuring 23.6Inch maximum. We do not recommend the use of inflating mattresses over 2.4Inch height in this tent due to the reduction in living space and resistance to condensation.
Ventilation
Flysheet with 2 side panels that can be opened out and attached to the side guy ropes (opens from the inside). Air can circulate in the bedroom. 2 spaces between the flysheet and the ground on each side in the bedroom to enable the air to renew itself and limit natural condensation. Fresh concept to reduce the heat from the sun.
Waterproofing
All Quechua tents are validated in a laboratory (whole tent under 200 L/sqm/h for 4 hours), as well as in the field. (2000 mm PU-coated polyester fly sheet, 4.2 oz/sqm polyethylene groundsheet, all seams sealed using thermobonded tape). A breathable polyester bedroom under the flysheet means you aren't in contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the flysheet.
Wind-resistance
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A properly pitched tent with all guy ropes fitted around the tent must remain habitable in wind speeds up to 30 mph near the ground (Force 6).
