Lightweight walking boot for my son and he says they are very comfy.
great value
After wearing these for one training walk of 20km, I took them to Spain to walk a 180km section of the Camino de Santiago. They gave me no problems at all, and felt broken in within a day. The midsole support was not as protective as my previous quechua boots, but these are a slightly lighter construction, and the trail was quite rocky in places. However, they looked after my feet very well and being waterproof managed to keep my feet nearly dry even on the day when it rained for 6 hours. The grip was good in the dry but not quite as sticky on wet rocks. All in all a good boot, with enough room for my funny shaped feet.

I wear these boots most of the time great for driving always found the ankle support to be good and a good fit but this new pair seem to be smaller across the bridge of my feet as if they are the wrong size disappointed so currently wearing thicker socks to try and stretch the bridge of them

Strength & durability
Laboratory tests were conducted to test the following elements: tearing eyelets and straps, gluing, toxicology, UV resistance, abrasion resistance of outsole and upper components, accelerated ageing. These tests allow us to improve the quality of our products and prevent premature wear of our hiking shoes.
Comfort
Our country walking boots promise one thing and that’s heightened comfort for the wearer; to this end, we have included different ingredients in this boot to take care of your feet such as the EVA foam insole (flexible thermoplastic) and the heel pad in the same material.We have also made the insole removable for greater hygiene (washing possible).
Resistant soles for walking trails
The sole’s design is the result of long research carried out in our labs. It is composed of a specific rubber formula which optimises grip and traction. We are always looking for the best solution to progress on loose or mineral (forest or coastal) walking trails.When used on roads, this can lead to the premature wear of your boots and cause discomfort. They are not suitable for high mountain walking.
What socks should you wear with the quechua nh100 mid boots?
These shoes are slightly breathable but not enough to wick away all humidity created by your perspiration. Preferably use the Hike 50 Mid socks: they contain moisture-absorbing cotton and have a reverse terry-knit construction under the sock that wicks moisture away from your foot. They are also high enough to protect your ankle from the shoe. It is an excellent combination to reduce the chance of blisters.
