How would this jacket be for golf Forclaz Men's 3-in-1 Waterproof Travel Backpacking Jacket or do you suggest a different jacket?
Answer:
It depends on the weather you are playing in. This is a very warm jacket so I would only recommend it for golf if you are playing in cold and rainy conditions. Our MH900 Lightweight Windproof Jacket is a light windbreaker that would work well if it isn't super cold, or any of our lighter fleeces.

Fantastic product. A little expensive, but high quality and, much appreciated, it is modular. This allows you to use it by adding or removing the interior depending on the temperature. Also, there are armpit openings with zips that are wonderful and avoid sweating. I also tried it in the rain and it is very waterproof. Highly recommended.

This item is good comfort to wear
My second product of this type for cycling to work in all weathers in autumn/winter. The first one lasted about 4 years, no complaints. For this product, I quickly saw that there was a waterproofing problem because the water repellency was poor from the start. I did one winter but I couldn't do 2 (the material soaks through). There must be a problem with production. A little taken aback by a Decathlon reception where I went to warn them of the problem and who told me that I just had to spray it with waterproofing spray! (and of course I never washed it)

3-in-1 concept for adapting to every situation
With its “3-in-1” system, the jacket is ideal for cold conditions (down to -10°C) as well as hot weather trips, as you can leave the inner layer at home, taking only the rain coat. You can also wear the inner fleece on its own as a mid-layer over a T-shirt. With just one jacket, you therefore get 3 options!
Sizing information
Standard cut. Inner volume lets you wear a second technical layer underneath, such as a microfleece top.
Adjustment
The hood is adjustable in height and depth thanks to an elastic drawcord. The storm-type hood is very enveloping and equipped with a preformed visor for maximum face protection.The bottom of the jacket is adjustable thanks to an elastic cord.The cuffs are adjustable using the rip-tabs.
Pocket system
2 hand pockets + 2 chest pockets. All pockets feature waterproof zips.2 zipped pockets on the inner jacket.
Removable padded jacket
The inner padded jacket is easy and quick to remove, thanks to a zip system. It can be worn alone and has 2 hand pockets, as well as a secure inside pocket.

The waterproofness of a fabric, provided by a coating or membrane, is measured in Schmerber or mm H²0 (pressure exerted by a column of water). The higher this number, the more waterproof the fabric.
