I have been wearing those Merino wool t-shirts for the last 3 years. They are simply the best 1st layer you can buy. They also keep their shape after washing. A brilliant product at a very fair price… well don’t Decathlon 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I've used this long-sleeved merino wool t-shirt on several hikes, and I'm absolutely thrilled with it. It's lightweight, breathable, and very comfortable to wear, even during exercise. Merino wool regulates temperature perfectly and dries quickly. Another big plus: it doesn't retain odors, even after several days of use. In short, it's become a staple in my gear. I recommend it without hesitation!
I really like that both the sleeves and the waist are long, so it's impossible to get cold in it in the winter. Considering that it's merino, it seems pretty strong. I always wore this for hiking in the winter (Kéktúra), it was perfectly comfortable, and it served me very well. It may not be cheap, but it's the best buy in terms of price-performance ratio compared to the competition. I can only recommend it to everyone!
great item for mountain trekking
In addition to its tight fit, which is suitable for use in the mountains without creating heat loss black spots, it feels pleasant on the skin and is an excellent first layer. It can be worn for a few days in the mountains without accumulating unpleasant odors and the high collar helps to cover the neck to avoid cold drafts. When sweaty, if you catch a cold wind, it becomes a little unpleasant, but this is something that most first layers suffer from, whether synthetic or natural, as is the case. When compared to similar products on the market, it is an excellent option, at a practically unbeatable price.
And that's quality. I complained. Let's see how good the service is. I've never experienced anything like this with any of my shirts. Unfortunately, unwearable.

Reduction of the freezing effect
After exercise and sweating heavily, Merino wool prevents evaporation helping to maintain body temperature by absorbing the majority of the body's moisture. This therefore reduces any unpleasant chilling effect.Conversely, a synthetic material lets the body temperature go back down again faster.
Tip before use
For a softer feel, wash your t-shirt before first use.
How to wash your t-shirt made with merino wool?

Product testing
In November 2018, 8 trekkers (4 men and 4 women) and part of the Simond design team tested this T-shirt for four days in the Southern French Alps (Lus La Croix Haute). You can expect wind, rain, a bit of snow, a bivouac... and a lot of fun! We were then able to make the final modifications and validate it for mountain trekking use.
