Good hiking socks, last a long time. The only drawback is that they may be a little tight on the foot.
What a disappointment, this new model contains a lot of elastane, these socks are small then very stretchy on the foot why? To gain profit on the logistics side? In any case, the touch is very plastic, they slide a lot on the foot, we sweat a lot, which in passing accentuates the poor hold of the sock on the skin, creates overheating and inevitably blisters, bad support twisting of the shoes and joints to become dangerous at the risk of injury. However, this is not the first pair of this brand or this model, but this new version is conceptually a disaster. Result: trek shortened and back to square one to buy new socks. Waste of time and money on this last trip on the GR221 all that for a poorly thought-out Decathlon sock. I really do not recommend!

Choosing the height of your socks
We offer 3 lengths of hiking socks. “Short/low” goes slightly above the shoes but under the ankles. “Medium/mid” protect your ankles and stop just above them. These 2 lengths are sized to be worn with low shoes. “Tall/high” are perfect to wear with high-top hiking shoes as they stop just below the calf.
How to correctly select hiking socks
Each of our sock sizes fits 4 shoes sizes (3/5, 6/8, 9/12, 13/15). The benefit of the elastane qualities in our socks is that they adapt well to your foot and stay in place. We all have different size feet, in length, proportion and volume: that's why it’s important to try on your socks before going hiking
