A 5-star bike with a reservation on after-sales service

A UCI World Tour machine. An excellent quality/price level compared to other World Tour bikes. Excellent finish, nervous, rigid but not uncomfortable. Very nice effect, the carbon is visible on the black parts. Cockpit and seatpost look great. A very high-end bike. 1 reservation and 1 disappointment: - Beware of technical after-sales service in store: need to have the cockpit adjusted by an independent reseller, impossible to do in store... - A big disappointment: during delivery to the store, a wheel had an impact on the carbon between 2 spokes. The new wheel ordered by the store has 3 spokes slightly scratched in the middle revealing the steel on the edge with a slight relief when running a fingernail over it. There is nothing dramatic, but on a new bike at this price and this level of range we expect something impeccable. On the other hand, excellent contacts with people in store and in distance sales.

dream bike

incredible everything perfect splendid wheels

Back to after-sales service

Non-compliant paint, black marks. Well taken into account by the Hunting store. Thanks Eric. Waiting for a return now. I am surprised that no inspection has seen these very visible defects. From the center of Lille.

CPR

After a first long outing of more than 100km, the results are very positive. Nothing to report on the equipment, everything works. In terms of performance and sensations, it is at the top, clearly a competition bike which really finds the most from 200W. Quick on the dishes, responsive on the sides. Comfort is not to be outdone, no surprise with the 28 tires. At the top...for competitors.

replica

very efficient, rigid, comfortable and versatile (flat and uneven). The peripherals contribute a lot, particularly the wheels which ensure excellent performance. The saddle is great, for me anyway. Very nice machine, and very aware of my luck. On the other hand, the after-sales service will have to be at the level of this technological marvel.

Top notch

After the first 200km, I was able to gain my first impressions. Compared to an SWorks Tarmac SL7, I would always take the RCR pro without hesitation. The acceleration, especially uphill, is more comparable to an Atehos. On faster passages or descents, you notice that a really good balance has been found here. Do you need a road bike like this as an amateur? Certainly not! But if you can handle the price and want a great road bike, then you can go for it.

my height 171 cm I order S and I receive XS

This is my (at least) fifth Decathlon bike (2 BTWIN Di2 and 2 Van Rijsel aluminum) I have never ordered an XS bike and they sent me an XS. I'm told that they "fit" large...ok, but that's very, very, very unfortunate. I'm going to see if I'm not going to "uncap" my kneecaps on the handlebars like a dancer. If my knees touch static in the store I don't go out with the bike.

CPR pro

Magnificent bike!

Fantastic bike

+ extremely pleasant handlebars (40 wide, low drop). + you feel that the bike is very aerodynamic, it loses little speed once you have launched. + good saddle. + handy system to set all electronics, via E-tube + beautiful color + price / quality unbeatable on the market. Even though €9,000 is a lot of money, for a modern racing bike with Dura-Ace di2 group and similar wheels you will not find anything on the market for less than €12,000. VAMOS

Professional CPR

All that's good, the problem is not being able to choose your stem length, handlebar width and crank length. At the price of the bike, that would be a minimum. Given the odds offered, it is not suitable for everyone

Additional Product Information

Composition

Frame (for bike): 100.0% Carbon

Rcr pro frameset

Designed to be lighter and offer more road feedback than our standard RCR. This is achieved by using a proprietary carbon layup. This bike is a race machine, that can climb as well as excel on the flats. What makes it more even better is the fact that this bike can do it all while still being comfortable to ride... Watch this bike win races all year long under the Decathlon AG2R Mondial team this season and for at least the next 4 more years.

What's the difference between the rcr and the rcr pro?

What makes a carbon frame is its geometry, its shapes and its layup. The layup is how the carbon fibres are assembled. Not all fibres have the same properties. On the frame of the RCR, we only use high-modulus fibres. On the RCR PRO, we've chosen exceptional fibres that make the bike stiffer in the areas that are put under the most stress and that slightly reduce the weight. The RCR PRO is ready to compete at the highest level.

A closer look at the frame

The RCR Pro's frame weighs 790 g (painted) in size M The RCR's fork weighs 380 g (painted) in size MThe frame can take tyres up to 32 mm wide. There may be slight variations in weight depending on the colour (+/- 50 g).

Cockpit

We've specially designed the RCR Pro's cockpit with our partner Deda to improve the aerodynamics by reducing the front surface while ensuring optimal ergonomics at the 3 contact points (levers, top of handlebar and drops). The housing is fully internally routed for a streamlined effect. The Deda X VR combo depends on the frame size:(stem length x handlebar width)XS: 90 x 380S: 90 x 400M: 100 x 400L: 110 x 400XL: 120 x 400

This gives you more progressive, more powerful braking. You will need to bed these brakes in. Simply brake gradually 20 times at a low speed (20 km/h), then repeat at 30 km/h. Make sure to bed in both brakes.Bedding in creates more friction between the disc and brake pad.
