very good, protects perfectly from wind and cold. Very good value for money
This softshell jacket, which states in the title that it is wind and waterproof, unfortunately turns out to be NOT waterproof when used. Too bad, because the reason for purchasing was that we needed a jacket that was both wind and waterproof for our trip to Scandinavia. The fit is excellent and in our opinion it is suitable for both men and women. The jacket is warm as long as it doesn't rain. The jacket is splash-proof, but if it rains you will be soaking wet. We tested the jacket in the Ardennes. Unfortunately, we now have two NOT waterproof but largely windproof jackets, which are not suitable for our trip. If you are just looking for a windproof jacket, this is a great option. The sleeves are of good length, the fabric is fine and so is the finish. The jacket fits quite tightly, as usual with softshell jackets.

Nice cut, perfect for hiking
After only two walks in nature with a 10L backpack, the material on the inside of the sleeves and on the outer parts of the chest shriveled. It is impossible for me to understand why the manufacturer did not use softshell in those areas, but a material not resistant to the most insignificant frictions. It's a shame about the very nice cut of the product, if you compare it you will use it on few outings in nature especially if you also carry a backpack as is absolutely normal on outings in nature.
Good jacket overall, but when you have a backpack for roaming and you put on the hood you find your head in your shoulders (quite unpleasant in the long run).
Very pleasant to wear, very pleased with it.

What is softshell?
It is a warm protective jacket that protects you from the wind and a short downpour (about 30 minutes) of light rain or snow.The fabric used is an assembly of 3 materials: a breathable and windproof micro-porous membrane sandwiched between the water-repellent outer side and the inner face composed of a comfortable and warm fleece.

Water repellent property of component (not to be confused with waterproofing)
The water-repellent property of a fabric is its capacity to make water run off its surface without absorbing it. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight and breathable. The fabric is made water-repellent by treating its outer surface, however this property may deteriorate with use.The water-repellent property can be reactivated by putting the jacket in the tumble dryer for 10 minutes on low heat.
