Really good

Very comfortable to wear and kept my feet warm and dry for the whole hike.

Wore them during my hikes in the tropical rainforests of South East Asia. They were nice and snug, didn't feel warm in my boots, kept my feet dry and free from blisters. They maybe considered expensive by Decathlon standards but it's a bargain when compared to other name brands. It's merino wool at bargain price. Well worth it!

Nice!!

Okay for the price

These are okay socks. The wool blend makes them better than average.

Good.

Durable, warm compared to similarly priced socks.

Small size

Come up very small despite the correct size, need to return them. Can't comment on the other qualities as can't wear them.

Not durable

Comfortable socks which were still easy to dry after Scottish bogs. However, both pairs I purchased desintegrated around the heel after about 10 days of hiking, so I can't call them good value. Decathlon cheaper all-synthetic hiking socks are more durable and equally comfortable for me.

Don’t work

Bought for a 100km walk, blisters after 20km. Reverted to old socks and completed remaking 80km without problem

Great socks!

They help a lot in preventing blisters and are super comfortable. I used them for a 39Km long hike with great comfort.

Excellent walking socks

I bought these socks for a 54 mile yomp around Scotland. I have never had one blister durning either my training or the event. Excellent socks. Recommended

Quality socks at a reasonable price

Very good socks for the price unlike some other supposedly top of the range brands which cost an arm and a leg and shrink the first time you wash them. Would definitely recommend.

Additional Product Information

Composition

Socks: 7.0% Polypropylene, 66.0% Polyamide, 5.0% Polyester, 4.0% Elastane, 18.0% Wool

Pack of 2 pairs

This model is sold in packs of 2 pairs of socks of the same colour.

Choosing the height of your socks

We offer 3 lengths of hiking socks. “Short/low” goes slightly above the shoes but under the ankles. “Medium/mid” protect your ankles and stop just above them. These 2 lengths are sized to be worn with low shoes. “Tall/high” are perfect to wear with high-top hiking shoes as they stop just below the calf.

How to correctly select hiking socks

Each of our sock sizes fits 4 shoes sizes (3/5, 6/8, 9/12, 13/15). The benefit of the elastane qualities in our socks is that they adapt well to your foot and stay in place. We all have different size feet, in length, proportion and volume: that's why it’s important to try on your socks before going hiking

Warranty

Our hiking socks are guaranteed for 2 years.

Product testing

All our socks are tested in the lab and in the field to validate the following: toxicology, UV resistance, resistance to abrasion, accelerated ageing and resistance to repeated washing. At the foot of the Mont Blanc, in France, our design team imagines, draws and designs Quechua socks. We hit as many footpaths as possible, in all weathers, with other hikers, to check their comfort and durability
