Great value for money! Would easily cost twice the price for an equivalent Thermarest one and it’s just as good. Nobody would pretend these type of mats are the most comfy, but for added insulation they are excellent.
Combining this with a good sleep mat is the only way you're going to get a decent night sleep unless you were raised by wolves... It helped increase the overall R value of my inflatable mat so that alone warrants the stars
Excellent upgrade to my old roll mat, good quality and half the price of a similar mat from a well known brand. The mat on its own isn't the comfiest (as I am a side sleeper) but I use this to protect and add some warmth to an inflatable mat. It's light weight but as with all foam mats, bulky and has to be carried on the outside of a rucksack and therefore not very stealthy if that's your thing.
I've been using this foam mattress as an addition to my forclas MT900 inflatable mattress to increase the R value This foam mattress has an impressive 2.2 R value it's very lightweight and the Z folding design means it can be attached to your backpack very easily it's a great price for the R value of this product I would recommend this product
I purchased this mat with the sole intention of pairing with my cheap light weight self inflating mat for winter use .It offers cheap puncture protection and a decent upgrade in R’ values. Following a couple of winter camps I can say it performed as expected.
Bought 2 of these to add a layer of insulation to the 2 man MT900 trekking tent, they fit perfectly. And what a difference they've made to our sleeping quality, no more freezing nights. In my personal opinion the folding panels are easier to pack and unpack compare to the rolling mat, as they won't have the tendency to curl up when unfolded. I'm very pleased with my purchase.
Cheap and keeps you off rocks
Very good night sleep and really made a difference in temperature.
Can't recommend this enough! It's cheap, light and very very versatile. The R value is great on this. I am a side sleeper and while it's not a mattress at home it is fine. I spent a week sleeping on this and it has been great! Yes it is a bit bulky. While it's folded it's a decent seat too.

A lightweight sleeping pad, perfect for mountaineering and camping.
The second sleeping pad I bought for a friend, aspects I didn't mention earlier, but he noticed. Wide, which increases comfort and the ability to 'move' on the sleeping pad, the way it is folded makes it easy to transport, the sleeping pad doesn't unfold or roll up when unfolded.
Very nice sleeping mat, about 1.5 cm thick, reflects heat nicely. On flat surfaces it increases comfort, on uneven terrain it protects the inflatable mattress from unevenness and sharp objects.
