Product Customer Reviews

One of the carrying bag straps has come loose (without using excessive force). A simple seam connects each of the straps to the small part which covers the opening. These kind of straps are usually used to compress the sleeping bag, so simple sewing is not enough (in my opinion). On the lower part, there are 2 seams in a row. For the repair (carried out myself using a sewing machine), I brought the strap up a little further, and sewed a square with a cross in the middle. It seems much more solid to me. Modifying the bag to make these seams stronger would be a great improvement for the strength (and longevity) of the product! Aside from this small issue, the bag is functional, warm and comfortable, at a great price for people wanting to go trekking without spending too much money on equipment!
We used this bag in the tent on a mattress, the outside temperature was 3 degrees and we were very cold. Does not meet the comfort temperature. I wouldn't recommend.
Good down, low temperature use. Didn't feel cold. Small footprint.
I used the sleeping bag two nights in dry shelters sheltered from the wind and in a meat bag. It was an average of 5 degrees and I'm not a cold person and yet I felt cold in the duvet which for 0 degree comfort is a shame... second downside for me is the compaction of the duvet which is really very painful. I had a really hard time getting it into this cover.. I must say that I am a fan of Decathlon products and often very satisfied with their products but here I was very disappointed. I would return it to the store and hope they would refund it.
I loved how little space it takes up in the luggage and how super warm it is. I have used it in high mountains
Down is not completely waterproof. Water enters through the zippers a priori...
Professional use. The recipient is very satisfied with this purchase which was very useful in difficult conditions.
I have owned the sleeping bag for a year now. Used about 10 times a year. The sleeping bag is nice and thick, feels soft and is also wonderfully warm. That's all a big plus. Only the zipper is terrible. Every time you open or close the zipper, a piece of fabric gets caught and you have to zip it back a bit. And that is a bit of comfort, because when it is cold, you want to be able to get out and in your sleeping bag quickly. Please adjust this in your new sleeping bag design.
Last time we went camping at Fu Shoushan Farm, the kids felt very comfortable and kept warm.
Tested in several places ranging from a heated apartment to sleeping in a tent in the mountains with incredible temperatures, well you know what? I slept like a baby and never once had a Friesian. In the mountains I still put a survival blanket on the ground and then my inflatable mattress to protect myself from the cold coming from the ground. Indoors it is better to use it as a cover if you don't want to look like an overcooked knaki.
Perfect
Does not fit easily back into case. A little heavy price quite high for 0°c
I highly recommend it
I have tested the bag, sleeping in a Caravan with an outside temperature of 0 degrees in the morning (4am) and 5 degrees at 11:00 p.m. Large 2kg bag but it is normal for that price. Very good quality-price. I got in and I was pretty hot but you didn't sweat at all (I liked it). I opened the zipper (zippers could be improved without being bad) and well, cold, you close them and it's hot. Cold because I slept in summer pajamas, short sleeves and long pants. I closed and at 4am the temperature dropped to 0 degrees. I woke up slightly cold. Ignore the limit temperature, to sleep well, a comfortable temperature and with long-sleeved clothing or something thermal and in a caravan-tent. If you sleep on the street bareback: I get 5 degrees below the minimum temperature. If you sleep in short sleeves in a tent: stay 5 degrees below the minimum temperature. Outdoors and with short sleeves: choose a jacket 10 degrees below the minimum temperature (comfort). I'm talking about winter. And over time the jackets become less warm.
sleeping bag that protects well from the cold, easy to transport.

What is the temperature rating?
We display the comfort temperatures on all our sleeping bags, tested by an independent laboratory (AITEX) in compliance with European standard ISO 23537-1:2022. The comfort temperature rating is the lower limit at which the user in relaxed posture is generally in thermal equilibrium and feels neither too cold nor too hot (for a standard woman in normal conditions of use). Choose your sleeping bag according to this criterion.
What is the temperature rating (lower limit at which you feel comfortable)?
The comfort limit temperature is the temperature limit at which a person curled up in the sleeping bag is in general thermal equilibrium, neither too cold nor too hot (determined for a man in normal conditions of use).We recommend using an insulation mattress to optimise your thermal comfort.
An important clarification concerning the iso 23537-1 standard
In the context of this standard, the measurement protocol of a sleeping bag’s thermal protection uses a mattress with thermal resistance equal to an R-value of 4.8.This means that by using a less insulating mattress, the thermal performance of your sleeping bag will be lower. We therefore recommend you use an insulating mattress to optimise your thermal comfort.
Some advice to consider before you get into your bag
Dress simply (1 layer of clothing is enough). Warm-up your extremities: hats, gloves, socks, hand/feet warmers, rubdowns, etc. A flask of hot water can be used as a hot water bottle (as long as there's no chance of it accidentally opening!) Contract your muscles (70% of the energy consumed is converted into heat) but do it without moving as this could create a draught. Use a bag liner to optimise warmth and avoid washing your sleeping bag too frequently.
Style
A generous mummy shape that is wide at the shoulders and narrow at the feet to optimise thermal insulation (no heat loss) and make the product more compact, while maintaining some freedom of movement.Width at the shoulders 72 cm, height at the feet 34 cm in size L. 64/30 in S, 68/32 in M, 76/36 in XL.
Weight and dimensions
Size S: 1450 g, user up to 1.59m tall. Bag dimensions: L 42 cm Ø 19.5 cm. Volume 12.5 L.Size M: 1550 g, user from 1.60m to 1.69m tall. Bag dim.: L 42 cm Ø 20.5 cm. Volume 13.9 L.Size L: 1670 g, user from 1.70m to 1.84m tall. Bag dim.: L 42 cm Ø 21.5 cm. Volume 15.2 litres. Size XL: 1790 g, user from 1.85m to 2m tall. Bag dim.: L 42 cm Ø 22.5 cm. Volume 16,7 L. Functions
Ergonomic hood with drawcord.Double collar for protection from the cold.A baffle along the zips prevents heat loss.Double-slider zips for optimal ventilation. The top of the sleeping bag can be opened with the two side zips.
Want to know more about the wadding?
We use 2 layers of overlapping wadding: - one 115 gr/m2, 100% polyester (70% recycled),- and one 150 gr/m2, 100% polyester (70% recycled). The wadding is made from silicone-coated spiral fibres that make it highly compressible and highly durable. Despite its low thickness, it has high insulation properties thanks to the air trapped inside, and remains lightweight. It retains its warmth even when wet.
Compatibility
Can be twinned with all the Forclaz MT500 sleeping bag models. Can be twinned with the older models in the 2017 ”Ultralight” and 2018 ”Light” ranges.
Product testing
All our sleeping bags undergo mechanical tests that test the performance and resistance of the sleeping bag to guarantee better sleep and recuperation (thermal resistance, resistance to abrasion, comfort, etc). We also carry out many tests in the field, in real conditions.
Storage instructions
You can easily store your bag by stuffing it loosely into its cover, feet section first. To keep it fluffed up & ensure good thermal performance, remove from its cover, extend, store it in a dry place.
