For swimming in…

Having swum in water at 10°C, with booties and a neoprene jacket, I was really happy with this equipment (Decathlon product)

Canyon usage

Unbeatable strength/price ratio

Very warm and useful gloves, unfortunately not very easy to put on, and they really restrict movement a lot, which for canyoning is often not optimal, but I imagine that for scuba diving it is not a problem in any way. Excellent anyway for the price

gloves effective in sea water at 12 degrees

I hesitated between the 3mm and the 5mm which seemed too thick to me and I did well to take the 3MM because they are already quite thick, knowing that they must be replaced every year if they are used to reject the crabs from the shrimp sorter

Good gloves for diving

Delighted with these gloves, easy to put on both outside and in the water. The comfort is good and it allows me, in particular on wrecks, to find support points without cutting myself and to protect myself from the cold. I would just make one improvement, which is to change the color of the palm and finger reinforcements for a contrasting color with the neoprene or even reflective in order to facilitate the readability of the signs with other divers.

Additional Product Information

Composition

Main fabric: 90.0% Rubber, 10.0% Polyamide ; Palm: 90.0% Rubber, 10.0% Polyester

Thermal insulation and assembly

3 mm neoprene. The seams of the gloves are waterproof due to GBS assembly (Glued and Blind Stitched): the neoprene is glued first of all, then sewn for maximum strength (the sewing needle does not go completely through the neoprene in order to prevent water infiltration). The palm of the hand is reinforced with Supratex for added grip.

Choose the right size

Try on your diving gloves. The tightest possible fit is required for optimal thermal insulation, like a second skin.

Certification

These scuba diving gloves provide thermal protection that has been tested by the independent INPP institute (Marseille, France) in order to validate their compliance with the current standard (EN 14225-1:2017)

Product testing

Designed and tested by our teams and our technical partner in Hendaye (France) to approve the thermal insulation.

Storage instructions

Store in a well ventilated place away from heat sources.

Origin

Imported
