Excellent vest

I bought this for my first 50 km ultra. Very pleased with it. Fits well - I tried on in store and bought the smallest size which I was surprised and a little apprehensive about. However it fits perfectly and doesn't rub or bounce. Had lots of pockets including one to stash a jacket into on the run and a zip one that fits my large phone.

Great pack

Like a tardis with so many options. Comfortable and forget it’s on. The bladder works well and the straps offer a flexible fit.

Excellent for a first running vest

Bought this as my phone (Samsung a53) didn't fit in the cheaper (blue) vest phone pocket. There's a few ups and downs, but generally it's excellent! Bad bits: 1. waterproof zip on phone pocket is great, but the pocket isn't waterproof on the back, meaning you get sweaty phone. Also, I recently ran a very wet half marathon wearing the vest, and water soaked into everything. Probably not normal circumstances, but it was an extensive test. 2. As you drink the water in the bladder, the vest gets looser, meaning you have to tighten the straps bit by bit as you go. Not a big problem in itself, unless you're on the smaller side of the sizing range and the straps are tight when you start . 3. The weight of the bladder when full pulls the vest backwards, feeling like you're constantly readjusting. Good bits: 1. Good enough fit to forget you're wearing it generally. 2. Loads of pockets. Space for 2 x 500ml bottles, 2 x 150ml gel bottles, glasses, hat, sweets, headphones and food; I still didn't fill all the space. Large zip pocket on back with a small zip pocket within for valuables.

VERY Disappointing

I wanted to review after my first run, but I thought I would give it a few weeks to be fair. It is a terrible pack, your water bottles bounce all over the place trying to hit you in the face especially the left hand side when you are carrying a phone as well. The chest straps slowly undo so you have to keep adjusting them. I bought the correct size according to the sizing chart but it is a really poor fit and never feels snug no mater how many times you adjust it!! The final straw was this morning when the left had water bottle holder ripped on a ten mile run the pack is a month old!! So the build quality is poor as well. DO NOT BUY THIS PACK!!!!

Great bag, fiddly components

Can’t fault the bag overall but be careful with the hydration tube magnet attachment to hold it on to the bag as it turns out to be quite loose and fiddly and if you’re not careful it might fall off into a muddy trail and be trampled into oblivion during a race, as happened to mine in Jura! Doesn’t seem to be a spares option other than full return refund on webshop.

Good capacity and comfortable, but..

I run about 4-5 times with this backpack for about 100KM in total. It's very comfortable to the point I forget I have it on. The capacity is good enough to carry a couple of layers and book that I use while travelling to running location and then pack away into the bag. However, I've just noticed that one of the front elastic bands is no longer in place, and I can only thing that I snapped it accidentally. A little concerned about the durability of the product which makes me less sure about recommending it.

As my first 10l bag this appears to have all the pockets I need for a 50km Ultra. The high up water bottle pockets make rehydration very easy.

Awful

This is clearly designed for women or men with narrow waists and massive chests. It is advertised for Ultra marathon distance running. I could barely endure 5 km. The water bottles kept bouncing and trying to hit me in the face. This made running impossible. I tridled tightening all straps and cords but nothing worked . The only way to stop it doing this was to pull the vest down with my hands- meaning I could run with them. Awful. Waste of money. Will look to buy another brand of hydration pack ASAP.

Perfect

Perfect for a 22 mile run in Wales! Good amount of storage that easy to get to on the go. Perfect sizing (tried mine on in store, and common sense told me to go a little bigger to account for water and the extra storage when running) Stayed nicely in place all run. I did however use my own camelbak bladder which fit in lovely.

Great bit of kit

Running my first ultra in September and had this pack recommended. Awesome piece of kit for the money - really secure when running and plenty of pockets. The large back pocket holds more than you would think with the stretchy material but still feels comfortable to wear fully loaded. Fitted all the mandatory kit for the run in the pack with a bit of room to spare.

Sizing is all over the place

Impossible to really size this properly as it doesn’t come with the bottles. Took it out for first run and bottles bounce all over the place, should have sized down to xs/s (if this helps anyone I’m 170lbs and 5ft8 and m/l is too big) Because I’ve now removed the tag I won’t be able to return so I’m now stuck with it, don’t make the same mistake as me.

Fantastic vest for the money

Great bag, sizing all wrong!

After using the predecessor model for several years I decided to treat myself to this upgrade. Almost everything about this bag is great - a phone pocket, much better front pockets you can actually stash a buff our gloves in, pockets under the arm, front buckles that don't ruin your T-Shirt and a stash pocket at the back that keeps your stuff safe. I ordered my usual size, M/L, the bag arrived, I tried it on and it seemed to fit. Then I took it for a long run, having cut the label as you do. And then the problem started - even though I pulled the front straps maximally tight, the flasks bounce a lot, there is too much space between my body and the straps and after a few miles this gets really uncomfortable. It seems the bag is simply too big for me. I can't exchange it because I've cut the labels. The previous model is very differently sized. And the size guide on the website has no specific recommendations for vests. I recommend you try your pack on with full front flasks before buying and jump around a bit - it really comes up large.

10l and 11 pockets: for you to separate and carry all your trail running equipment

There are 5 pockets at the front of this 10-litre trail running bag: 2 pockets for 500 ml soft flasks (not included), a patented, waterproof phone pocket, as well as 2 pockets for your gels or cereal bars. In addition, we added 2 side pockets and 4 rear pockets: 1 kangaroo pocket, but also a large compartment with side zip which contains its own zipped pocket, as well as a large pocket designed for the one-litre water bladder (included).

A bag designed to keep you hydrated, but also so you can access and carry your drink easily

If we consider that we drink an average of 500 ml of water per hour of effort when running (and trail running in this case) and that this backpack lets you carry 2 litres of water, you will thus be able to keep running for 4 hours. Handy, right? Therefore, with the one-litre back pocket (which we will discuss in a minute) and the two front pockets for holding 500 ml flasks, you can run stress-free between refuelling stops!

Focus on the water bladder

This trail running backpack, with a 10-litre capacity, has a specific holder for a one-litre water bladder on the back. Included in the sale price and attachable with a hook, it can be used at temperatures between -20 and +40°C, solely for water (avoid milk or alcohol and best not pop it in the microwave). You can also cut the tube to the required length and attach the tip to the magnet on the front of the bag, or with the 2 elasticated strips on each side.

Choose how to attach and carry your poles

Since poles are a key bit of kit for many trail runners, our 10 L trail running backpack comes with a built-in quiver attachment system (quiver sold separately). And for fans of the traditional method, we have added two elastic adjustment strips at the front to attach your trail poles vertically. Thanks to these two ingenious systems, carry and store your poles as you like... and according to the slope!

Lightweight, fit and technical quality

Weighing just 240 g empty, your backpack is a real featherweight! And to ensure it is the right size and fit for you, it comes in 3 sizes: XS/S, M/L, XL.In addition, thanks to the 3 height-adjustable straps, you can adjust and stabilise this gilet to your body shape for greater comfort during ultra-endurance events. Lastly, our design incorporates technical and stretchy components so the bag will stay close to your body but can still expand where necessary!

2 patented technologies to optimise the performance of this backpack... and your own!

This backpack is the perfect illustration of the spirit of trail running: simple pleasure and pushing your boundaries. The waterproof smartphone pocket is lined and can easily hold your phone even with a flask below it.Two elastics strips for you to fix, stabilise and carry your flasks securely. Lastly, we developed an innovative rear kangaroo pocket, with an angled opening so you can easily access your windproof jacket, without needing to perform the usual contortions!

A backpack with an eye for detail

You will find a barcode in the rear zipped pocket: scan it to find a wealth of information all about the backpack. The lacing on the back of this men's and women's gilet is a little design touch introduced by our garment designer. We love it (both the design and the designer, of course). In addition, the front right pocket holds a 110 db whistle, an essential item for many outdoor races, especially in the mountains.

Care instructions

As regards the maintenance of your trail running bag, we recommend hand-washing, but also removing the magnet (used to attach the tip of your drinking tube to the 1-litre water bladder) before cleaning it. After washing, dry your bag and store it in a dry place. As regards the water bladder, ensure you do not leave water in the bladder for more than 24 hours, and rinse it with fresh water after use and let it dry before storing it away.

Product testing

This backpack has been tested by some members of the Evadict Women Team and by the trail runners who designed it jointly with us. We would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their help and precious advice: their feedback helped us capitalise on their advice and, consequently, create the perfect version of this new item, which we are particularly proud of.

Storage instructions

We recommend keeping your 10-liter trail running backpack inside... We know you love the outdoors, but there is nothing like the warmth and comfort of your home!
