The perfect sun hat, nice and light with a wide brim that keeps the sun off the back of my neck as well as out of my eyes!

The hat is fabulous. I've taken it on more than one trip and it's always worked. The sun protection is amazing - even in Spain at 40°C. It also looks great ;)
With a shaved head, I needed effective UV protection. Lightweight, the comfort is pleasant. I'm waiting to see in high heat how it will perspiration and hold up after several washes.
Lightweight, and above all, a very practical cord so that it doesn't fly away at the first gust of wind when you're on the ridges!

Great for living in a sunny, windy area. Its edges are very wide and its cord prevents it from flying away. I've been wanting to buy it for a long time, and I'm not disappointed. The beige color allows it to go with everything. Plus, it has ventilation.

A very versatile hat. Machine washable, no ironing required, keeps its shape, can be worn for swimming, dries quickly and looks great.
Very good hat, it fits me well. It is comfortable, can be used while swimming, I had it on my head all day, my head didn't sweat under it. It got wet while swimming, but it dried pretty quickly, it stayed on my head securely. I washed it in the washing machine, no problems, no need to iron, it is made of perfect material.
Finally at Decathlon I found the hat I was looking for for my excursions
nice but not protective enough, good for short outings of a few hours, but does not protect the upper part of the head. overall I like it and it suits me very well

What criteria must a cap meet in order to qualify as ”uv-protective”?
UV protection standards for hats are very specific: The fabric must of course be anti-UV (UPF index greater than 50), but this is not enough to claim the finished product is anti-UV. The hat must also have a wide brim and flap which fully protects the face and the back of the neck. The Trek 500 hat meets these requirements so you can go hiking with complete peace of mind: you are perfectly protected!
How is polyamide more resistant?
Polyamide offers excellent abrasion and tear resistance. Moreover, microorganisms and mould don’t trouble the synthetic fibre!
How do you measure a fabric's quick drying capacity?
The product is machine washed 3 times then line dried, then we immerse it in water and measure how long it takes to get back to its pre-wash weight.This hat scored an impressive 5 out of 5 stars, returning to its pre-washed weight in less than 80 minutes!
