Good and even better with some improvements

Good value for money, let's see how long it lasts. Easier to assemble in pairs than alone for passing the poles but super quick to assemble and disassemble in the rain. Nickel the tarp to add in solidarity with the tent. Some finishes that could be done better and details to improve such as the opening of the doors. When it rains or has rained, it is difficult to open without drops falling into the tent with the fastening system of the closure. Slightly small apses.

This tent is easy to transport and conveniently fits in your backpack. It is perfect for hiking and cld weather.

Twisted hoops

The two hoops bent after only two uses and three weeks of purchase. Non-refundable and I must wait 5 weeks for after-sales service to provide me with replacements for the twisted pieces so that I can replace them myself. So no more tent for the whole summer after only 3 weeks of purchase.

Superb tent

A very practical tent, used for sleeping in the mountains. It does not take up space, easy to assemble/disassemble. We were 2 adults and two medium dogs (20 kg), we had plenty of space in addition to our belongings.

Easy to use but be careful about waterproofing

very easy to assemble and disassemble, storage is easy. Not too cramped inside despite our belongings (2 bags and the dog) On the other hand, what a shame, after 4 days of use, rainy day and a place that is not waterproof (at the level of a joint ), resulting in drops in the tent fabric.

Too hot and too bright

I tested this model and unfortunately it cannot be used in the sun. Previously, it was available in the fresh and black option and only this version worked.

Poor quality

I only took the tent to one festival. Unfortunately, I discovered that it had already been used, even though I had bought it new in the store. It wouldn't have been a problem for me if the quality hadn't been so bad. The seam had already pulled threads in several places, which was particularly annoying around the door. In addition, the ground in the tent was damp every morning (even though it wasn't raining), which meant that my things lying on the ground got wet. I didn't get my money back because I didn't have a customer account at the time (I don't have WiFi at home) and I wasn't allowed to create one during that time. I've never had to return anything, but I thought you had a 14-day right of return at any time. I don't understand why you need a customer account to make a return. Now I've been given a voucher as a gesture of goodwill and I don't know how I'm going to use the money because I certainly won't be buying another tent from Decathlon. I was always very satisfied with the Quechua tent, which is why I thought that Decathlon had high quality tents, but unfortunately I was mistaken.

too small and moldy

The tent floor is made of the same material as the walls. It got moldy over the winter, although it was dry before. 3 people don't fit in, only 2

Bought it for motorcycles. Easy in the middle, easy to store Light, not very heavy. Inside is airy and comfortable to sleep... It is considered ok for motorcycle or hiking lovers.

Completely flawed design

You have to close the tent completely to stop rain from getting in. If you leave the outer tent open for better ventilation, as is often suggested, it will rain in. In our case, it dripped through the seam during a morning shower. If you close it completely, it's OK. The floor isn't particularly good, though. Everything gets damp. But there's no getting out dry. Open the inner tent zip and move as little as possible, as the inside of the outer tent is soaking wet and drips with the slightest movement. When you open the zip, your arm gets wet first. Then pull it back as quickly as possible, as the open part falls inwards due to the design and thus hangs inside and happily drips. When you then climb out, your back will be touching the inside of the outer tent at the latest, and your back will be wet too. When you open the tent, it's best to put everything in the middle and wipe it up afterwards. We curse every day during our rainy vacation and have given up now. As soon as we get home, this stupid thing is going back. We have used much cheaper tents from Quechua and have never had such a problem. This one was bought because of its great pack size. But I would rather do without anything else.

TOP tent!

Very good advice from the seller. Mounts easily. Disassembles easily. Lightweight.

The tent has become…

The tent has become damp and wet from the inside

Despite the relative ease of assembly, the unreinforced hoop tunnel found itself pierced after only 3 assemblies and this, without having particularly forced. You really have to go slowly and stop suddenly as soon as the slightest crease catches the hoop. Big disappointment at this level.

Extremely quick pitching/striking. The flysheet and bedroom are pre-assembled. You then need to insert the tent pole in the sleeves of the flysheet (colour code). It is also quick to strike. To store the tent in its bag, just fold up the tent until it is as wide as the bag, fold up the tent poles into a bundle and place them on the bedroom or the flysheet, and roll everything up into a small bundle to fit it all in the bag.

They are also tested in the field by a sample user group. 75 denier polyester flysheet, polyurethane-coated (interior) water-repellent treatment (exterior), P75D groundsheet in the bedroom.Seams taped with heat-sealed strips.Multi-component bedroom (P66D) that is breathable, provides protection from the wind and reduces condensation.

Wind resistance

We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable where we can expose each side of the tent to the wind.To test its wind resistance, the tent must be properly pitched, taut but not stretched, with all the guy ropes in position around the tent. It should remain habitable at wind speeds of 70km/h, measured near ground level. Our tents are certified by the CSTB independent laboratory in Nantes.

Ventilation and condensation prevention

Bedroom with mosquito screen for ventilation and water-repellent fabric to protect from condensation and draughts. Large vent at front of tent and additional vent at feet end.To reduce condensation inside your tent, it must be properly pitched, with the fabric kept taut without being over-stretched. Vents and good air flow will help reduce humidity inside your tent.

3-season tent: your tent will protect you from the harsh weather conditions you can encounter in the spring, summer or autumn. It will withstand light snowfall but is not designed to withstand heavy loads that would weigh on the structure. In case of snow, remember to shake your tent regularly in order to bring down any snow that has accumulated to avoid putting too much weight on the structure of your tent.

Storage instructions

after using or cleaning the tent, dry it thoroughly before storing to avoid bad odours and mould.
