I bought this one for my holiday in Asia when I took only 7kg lagguage for 3 weeks. Is amazing, warm, compact, soft, has useful, zip pockets, perfect as pillow as well.
I couldn't get this jacket to fit at all, it was way too tight in the waist though fit perfectly elsewhere. When I went a size up it was waaay too big elsewhere. Why such an extreme formfitting hourglass figure? Is this really necessary? I'm afraid we don't all have tiny waists. :(
Very comfortable Jacket and top quality for this price
I have had the jacket for only a couple of months and one of the seams on the wrist has come undone. Very disappointed with the quality as the previous one I had lasted me many years.

My 12 1/2-year-old daughter is delighted with this purchase. It's a lightweight and warm down jacket that suits her aesthetic tastes. Good quality, I think and hope she'll be able to keep it for several years.
Light and warm
Very warm and light jacket, comfortable, fitted. It's a pity that there is not a larger choice of colors.
Everything was fine until I washed it, by hand as recommended on the label at 30°… the down inside is of such poor quality that it compacted in the compartments of the down jacket and now dry it looks like nothing. I tried to restore the fluffiness by all possible means, with a hair dryer cold air inside and by hand trying to distribute the down balls evenly… nothing works. It is unwearable after only 1 wash. It is a 100€ down jacket!! It is very expensive for a down jacket, the manufacturing should be impeccable it is a shame. I demand a refund because it is really a very bad product. Barely worn 1 month.

Very light, soft and warm duvet. The bag is a little too thin and small, putting it back in is not easy. The design and color is very cute and the quality-price ratio is quite good

How warm is this padded jacket?
This padded jacket, worn as a 3rd layer, has been certified for an active comfort temperature of -10°C during a standardised test in a thermal chamber. The model is wearing a synthetic long-sleeved T-shirt and a light fleece underneath. It works with a simulated 5 km/h wind. We have also tested this model in static mode. Its comfort temperature is 0°C in this case.
The advantages of a duck down and feather filling
The filling power of down has 3 advantages for mountain sports: - Thermal insulation thanks to the air trapped in the down and feathers.- Ultra-lightweight: down is lighter than synthetic wadding while offering the same degree of warmth. This saves even more weight in your backpack.- Ultra-compressible.
How to measure the fill power of a down and feather wadding?
The fill power is a measure of the down fts thermal insulation capacity and its potential to InchtrapInch air. It is expressed in CUIN (cubic inches). So, down with a higher fill power (higher CUIN number) will occupy more space, trap more air and provide greater thermal insulation. This puffer jacket, filled with 90% down and 10% feathers, has a guaranteed fill power of 800 CUIN (international standard) or over.

How to care for a down jacket?
The down jacket can be worn throughout the winter and will certainly need to be washed. Our advice: 1/Machine wash with a detergent suitable for down or technical garments, at 30°C, with 2 or 3 tennis balls. Gentle spin cycle. 2/ tumble dry with 2 or 3 tennis balls, and repeat 2 or 3 times until it is completely dry.
Water-repellent property of component (not to be confused with waterproofing)
The water repellent property of a fabric is its ability to make water run off its surface without absorbing it. This prevents the fabric from swelling, and keeps it lightweight and warm. The fabric of this down jacket is water repellent, however, we recommend that you wear a waterproof jacket over it in the rain. The fabric is made water-repellent by treating (PFC-free) its outer surface, however this property may deteriorate with use. We recommend that you restore it after each wash.
How to restore the water-repellent properties?
Once you have cleaned your padded jacket, we recommend you use a water-repellent reactivator spray to preserve the hydrophobic properties of the outer fabric. This renews the fabric’s water repellent properties and optimises its performance throughout the lifespan of your garment.
How to repair your fleece?
A tear on a padded jacket can happen when trekking! The good news is that it can be repaired with a repair patch to prevent the tear from getting bigger or feathers from escaping. Don't you feel at ease carrying out this repair yourself? Don't worry! Some Decathlon workshops offer an in-store repair service to mend your padded jacket using a heat-bonded patch.
Product testing
In November 2021, 4 independent female Forclaz backpackers and 2 members of Forclaz are tested this down jacket for 3 days of backpacking up to 9842 ft. altitude near Chamonix, in the Mont Blanc Country. The feedback given to us after this test: let us validate this down jacket for backpacking in the mountains.
