This is the second one of these coats I have bought. The first has worn out after being worn daily. It’s true to size and seems to keep me the same temperature whether it’s 12 or 0 degrees outside. It’s lightweight and doesn’t feel bulky at all. My favourite cost ever.
I love this jacket , warm enough , for lots off activities with warmth , and without the heaviness and overbearing off other jackets , and easy to fold up when indoor areas , I even put it on indoors anywere until heating warms up it’s as good as having a duvet round you , and the Color’s all so lovely and smart , so thumbs up to Forclaz

Brilliant jacket - had it for 2 years - comfortable, practical and very warm. This has kept me warm on cold holidays, very cold UK weather and in the house when heating broke down. Really amazing coat, well worth it.
Keeps you warm and comfortable
I'm very happy with the down jacket itself. It's very warm and well-designed. However, I bought it partly for the ability to store it in its pocket, and unless you're really not very good at it (a video tutorial perhaps???), that's not possible, so I'm very disappointed on that point. Also, the jacket does shed some down, but nothing major. I just think the main fabric is too thin.

I bought this jacket for my wife as a present and it was a bullseye! According to her, the main advantage of the jacket is that it does not blow in strong winds, has a nicely cut hood, spacious, well-fitting to the face and chin. It has internal cuffs and long sleeves. The zippers under the arms are amazing. The possibility of unzipping from the bottom is sometimes useful, but those who wear a harness will appreciate it. To be completely happy, it lacks an external pocket on the chest.

How to measure the fill power of a down and feather wadding?
The fill power is a measure of the down fts thermal insulation capacity and its potential to InchtrapInch air. It is expressed in CUIN (cubic inches). So, down with a higher fill power (higher CUIN number) will occupy more space, trap more air and provide greater thermal insulation. This puffer jacket, filled with 85% down and 15% feathers, has a guaranteed fill power of 660 CUIN (international standard) or over.

Reducing the risk of feather loss
The main stitching of the compartments containing the down and feather are heat-sealed to prevent the loss of feathers.
In case of rain
The material of the quilted jacket is water repellent. It allows drops of water to slide off the fabric which delays the penetration of water into the quilted jacket while you get out of the rain. The shoulders and hood of the jacket, which are more exposed to the rain, are waterproof. We nevertheless recommend wearing a waterproof jacket over the quilted jacket in the event of prolonged exposure to the rain.
How to care for a down jacket?
The down jacket can be worn throughout the winter and will certainly need to be washed. Gentle spin cycle. 2/ tumble dry with 2 or 3 tennis balls, and repeat 2 or 3 times until it is completely dry.
How do i reactivate the waterproofing properties?
Once you have cleaned your padded jacket, we recommend you use a water-repellent reactivator spray to preserve the hydrophobic properties of the outer fabric. This renews the fabric’s water repellent properties and optimises its performance throughout the lifespan of your garment.
