Perfect

Excellent clothing

Very light and practical item of clothing, pricey but fine

Water-repellent hiking pants

Hello, I bought some supposedly water-repellent hiking pants, I just had time to get out of the car and I could feel the drops penetrating. I am really disappointed by the product which still sold for €70

Pants

Nice pants, they worked well in the mountains. Super comfortable and well-made.

leg length

I bought 2 of them 1 year ago, they are very good. The waist is fine but the leg length is too long for me. I would shorten it but the features on the chimney disappeared

Too bad despite a very good product

It's a shame that the belt loops are too small for other belts. But to believe that when a product works (old model) we don't keep the specific features that made these pants a very good product??????

This is a great hiking pant! You can use these trousers in all areas of hiking, from challenging multi-day treks to via ferratas, they will accompany you best. Sturdy and elastic in the right places, with large side openings to let in plenty of air, you can use it for a good part of the year, perhaps combining it in the cold months with heavy tights. There are few defects found in my opinion, the first is that the side openings for ventilation are slightly annoying if you have very thick legs, as the zips tend to rub on the skin a bit, it would have been enough to put an internal protection there. The second small flaw is the belt loops which, if you want to replace the standard one with your own belt, you will find that the loops are a little narrow. Then keep in mind that if you walk at low altitude in the height of summer, they may be a little too hot, even with the side vents open. Small defects, amply compensated by the general quality which, compared to more famous brands, does not disappoint at all.

Optimal

Very good pants

To withstand the difficult conditions of the GR 20 at the end of May. Excellent water-repellent and windproof pants while maintaining their lightness.

comfortable

comfortable pants but in the rain they take on water. If you are looking for waterproof pants, go your way.

amazing pants,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, it's the second pair I've purchased. perhaps the best, quality-price ratio of decathlon.if not the best! crazy elasticity, it's a second skin. Not to be used with temperatures above 25. Can also be used in winter, with snow and cold, with thermal underwear. highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope they don't modify and eliminate them as is the custom of decathlon, in my opinion they are difficult to improve!

Very pleasant

Very pleasant with its opening at the bottom of the legs.

Good cut, comfortable to wear

Not waterproof and only water-repellent up to knee height in front Otherwise comfortable to wear Ventilation pockets on the sides Integrated belt a plus Price a little high

For moderate rain

The pants are hydrophobic until a certain point, when the material on the upper part gets soaked with water and then you feel the drops running down your leg, the advantage is that they dry quite quickly

Perfect

Bought for hiking in Scotland, it is the ideal product

Additional Product Information

Composition

Main fabric: 88.0% Polyamide, 12.0% Elastane ; Yoke: 96.0% Polyamide, 4.0% Elastane ; Lining: 100.0% Polyester

Why choose a hybrid construction for these mt900 trekking trousers?

These trousers have been designed with 2 different components:- a very durable fabric (277 g/m²) on the areas that need protection from abrasion (buttocks, knees and the front of the lower leg); - a durable (198 g/m2) and stretchy fabric (12% elastane) on the rest of the trousers provides you with great freedom of movement.

What can be said about the men’s mt900 trousers’ water-repellent features?

These MT900 trousers are water-repellent. They allow water to slide off the surface of the fabric. Please note, this does not mean WATERPROOF. The water repellency prevents the trousers from getting wet too quickly. However, this won’t be enough to keep you dry if you’re in steady rain. To do this, you will need a pair of over-trousers like the MT500 model (ref.8736465).Water repellency can be reactivated using a reactivating water repellent spray (ref. 8800346).

What accessories come with the mt900 trekking trousers?

The MT900 trekking trousers are equipped with several pockets:- 2 zipped hand pockets;- two zipped thigh pockets;- 1 zipped back pocket.A hook at the bottom of each trouser leg allows you to hook your trousers over your boots so that you can prevent stones and snow from getting inside. 2 ventilation zips on the sides to improve air circulation. The belt supplied with the trousers can also be used as a tightening strap for your equipment.

What is the cut of the mt900 trousers?

These trousers have a snug, close-fitting cut. The use of fabric with two-way stretch gives perfect ease of movement. If you prefer a looser fit trouser, choose one size up from your usual size.
