Product Customer Reviews

I got this bag for my wife who is always too hot when sleeping. She thoroughly dislikes the typical stuffy, non-breathable bags, but absolutely loves this one. Rated for summer temps, thumbs up. Cotton instead of synthetic surfaces, thumbs up.
Hi Kevin,
Thank you so much for your review! Really glad your wife loves the sleeping bag. Hope to see you guys back in the store soon!
Have a beautiful day! :)
Gabrielle
Very comfortable and breathable material- alot more comfortable
Very impressed.
Bought as a summer camping bag for a middle aged man who feels hot in most bags. First few nights at 16 -18 deg were good and cooler than my previous 2-3 season bag due to cotton lining. Then we had a night dropping to 10-12 deg and the bag needed a coat over it to keep warm enough. So it’s good for overnight temps above 14 I feel. Also hadn’t appreciated that the top 20 cms is just a flap and doesn’t zip up or connect at the sides. Cool but might be draughty on cool nights for taller folk. Feels less well made than my Vango but is fine for the price.

Bin total zufrieden.

Use temperature
We display on all our sleeping bags the comfort temperatures tested by an independent laboratory (AITEX) according to European standard ISO 23537-1 of 21/01/2017. The comfort temperature rating is the lower limit at which the user in relaxed posture is generally in thermal equilibrium and feels neither too cold nor too hot (for a standard woman in normal conditions of use). Choose your sleeping bag according to this criterion.
What is the comfort limit temperature?
The comfort limit temperature is the temperature limit at which a person curled up in the sleeping bag is in general thermal equilibrium, neither too cold nor too hot (determined for a man in normal conditions of use).
What you need to know about temperatures
A sleeping bag does not produce heat but retains the heat produced by the body. If you are tired and cold and you slip inside a cold, damp sleeping bag, it is very likely that you will feel cold no matter how good your sleeping bag is! These temperatures therefore depend on the person's resistance to cold (body type, fatigue, etc.), equipment (mattress with insulation, etc.), clothing (naked, underwear, etc.) and weather conditions (humidity, wind, etc.).
Tips before getting into your bag
Dress simply (just 1 layer of clothing is enough). Warm up your extremities: hats, gloves, socks, hand/feet warmers, friction... A flask of hot water can be used as a hot water bottle (if there is no risk of accidental opening!). Contract your muscles (70% of the energy consumed is converted into heat) but without making any movement generating a cold airstream. To wash your sleeping bag less often, we recommend you use a sleeping bag liner.
A score for comparing products' environmental impact
The environmental impact of the product is calculated based on its entire lifecycle and using different indicators. An overall ABCDE score is given to help you easily identify products with the best environmental performance by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, pants, backpacks, etc.). Decathlon is a voluntary supporter of this environmentally-friendly labeling approach.
