In my opinion it's great

I tested it in the Tatras - it worked great - I didn't really need to take it off during stops - it fitted me perfectly and we hiked together until we reached our destination (usually above 2000m above sea level 😉)

Perfect for a 2-day hike

I wore this bag for the Contamines - Robert Blanc refuge hike. The climb to the Col d'Enclave was not easy, but I felt like I didn't have a backpack, my scales were so good! I would have liked to have an extra pocket to organize things for 2 days but the 2l water pocket - super capacity and the pockets also have quick access. The back breathes well.

Compact, lightweight and comfortable backpack

After a few weeks of use, I can say that it is wonderful. The only drawback I would say is that it has too many elastic bands and small cords on the outside and sometimes it is annoying when you close zippers and they get tangled.

Great

Great bag for big routes for the day or hikes over 1 to 2 days. Durable and lightweight, leaving great freedom of movement. Really nice to have an integrated helmet holder, and quick-access pockets whether for snacks or phone, gopro etc.

It's pretty easy to use, except for the hook for storing hats, which is easy to fall off; it also comes with a backpack and raincoat.

Very comfortable to wear and well distributed

Backpack for via ferrata activities

A good and compact backpack for via ferrata activities. Perfectly placed included 2L bellows. It would only be better if the lower pockets were a little bigger and moved a little to the front for easier use. It wouldn't hurt if it also had a cell phone pocket on the shoulder straps.

10-year guarantee

The guarantee covers any backpack faults, except those caused by normal wear and tear and improper use. This special 10-year warranty will only be granted upon presentation of the receipt and the product, and if the product is covered by warranty, it will be repaired or exchanged, free of charge. This commercial guarantee does not affect any statutory guarantees that are applicable in the country/state of purchase.

Durability

We take care over abrasion resistance to make your bag durable. The heavy clothing R&D department, a Quechua partner for the research and validation of its components and assemblies, performs tests (on components, seams and the finished product) simulating the ageing of backpacks. Their results allow us to guarantee the bags tested for 10 years from the purchase date shown on the receipt.

Lightweight

Because when you hike, you must wear your equipment, we think about lightness. Here at Quechua, we design our products in such a way that they are always lighter and guarantee great freedom of movement.

Product design: our expertise

Our Quechua global design centre is based in Passy, at the foot of Mont-Blanc in Haute Savoie. This location makes it a real meeting place for our teams (designers, product managers, engineers, etc) and outdoor sports enthusiasts. A great asset for designing your mountain walking products and providing you with all our expertise.

How to care for and wash a rucksack?

We recommend hand-washing your rucksack. Use soapy, lukewarm water, possibly with a brush, focusing on the areas in contact with the body (shoulder straps, back, waist belt), where you have perspired. This is the best way for the fabric properties to be maintained, in particular the waterproofness. Then rinse well with lukewarm water, dry in a dry place away from direct sunlight (no radiator). Store in a dry place.

How do i adjust my backpack?

1 - Loosen all the straps (straps, hip belt, load adjuster straps). 2 - Put the backpack on. 3 - As this bag is small in volume, put the belt around the waist and tighten it. 4 -Tighten the shoulder straps. 5 - Adjust the load adjuster straps as needed

Hand luggage

When you are travelling by plane, the authorized hand luggage size is 55x35x25cm3 maximum (warning, this can vary depending on the airline). This backpack can therefore be used as cabin baggage

Product testing

To meet your requirements, Quechua products are tested in the mountains in conditions you will encounter during your hikes. Our teams, as well as a tester panel (made up of partners, ambassadors and customers), test products throughout their development until they go to market.

Storage instructions

Store in a dark, dry, well-ventilated place.
