Great when you have less to carry

I have a full sized walking bag but undertaking some very hilly ultra walks this year (75km and 55km) and wanted something lighter. The bag is light and comfortable on the back, without any internal structure it moulds to your back. Hole for your hydration bag to pass through and two strong velcro straps to keep it upright. Only issue I've had is because the hydration bag sits almost directly on your back it tends to warm to luke warm water after a few miles. I plan to add some thin insulation to fix this. Overall though pleased I bought it!

So close to being good

This bag could be amazing with a few minor changes. The chest strap rides up really badly and ends up digging into your throat every few minutes. The second issue is the waste belt pockets are just a little bit too small to fit a modern smart phone in them, my phone is slightly smaller than the average and can just squeeze in with a lot of effort. I appreciate that the bag has a dedicated smart phone pocket inside but most people don't want to take off the bag to get their phone out. If these issues were addressed (especially the chest strap) it would be am absolutely incredible bag but these minor flaws really let it down

Great bag

Very light and comfortable 👍, however the hydration bag has a terrible taste, hopefully will get better after a few vinegar washes.

undetectable

I wore this on a hike across moorland in North Yorkshire and it was full of spare clothes, supplies, 2 litres of water and it felt like I had nothing on my back. When I wanted something from the pack it was really easy with the compartments. I really love this and the brand

The backpack fits very well on the back and neck. It is light. Seemingly small, but it fits a lot. I recommend it.

At the top Finally packed more than expected for a long session Lightweight and practical for a short jog too

It's so discreet that I forget it's on my back. The low-cut shape of the straps prevents pressure on fragile shoulders.

Ultra-light backpack

Perfect! Light, just a problem getting the camel bag tube through (too narrow!).

Very good back

Great backpack

Backpack used many times on mountain trips in the Tatras, often > 25 km, but also on bikes and cross-country skis + the bladder does not catch odors and the water does not taste like plastic (I took care of it from the very beginning, rinsing it with water and wiping it with paper immediately after returning from the trail) + the pockets on the hip belt are very functional (it will hold a phone or 2/3 wafers) + the backpack is very light, you forget that you have it on your back + if you pack well, you practically do not have to take it off on the trail + you can attach something, e.g. a sleeping mat from the bottom + even ok ventilation + PRICE + when going with it in winter, our backs will warm the bladder by themselves, so you can drink water at a normal temperature, in summer on the other hand, I did not feel that the water was getting particularly warm - no pocket inside for a little better organization (most of the time it does not bother) - the material seems delicate (although I did not have no problem with it) - a bit useless back compartment for a "helmet" - you'll probably wear something warm or a raincoat there - the buckles in the hip belt rub terribly with some types of shirts - the opening for the water hose is too narrow, yes you can push it through even with a spout but you have to struggle a bit Despite some flaws I think the backpack is really great and worth recommending, especially at this price.

It's OK, but the straps are recommended to be thicker and thicker to increase comfort. Overall, it's good and the function is OK. It is recommended to make the pockets on both sides deep enough to put a water bottle

10-year guarantee

The guarantee covers any backpack faults, except those caused by normal wear and tear and improper use. This special 10-year warranty will only be granted upon presentation of the receipt and the product, and if the product is covered by warranty, it will be repaired or exchanged, free of charge. This commercial guarantee does not affect any statutory guarantees that are applicable in the country/state of purchase.

Durability

We take care over abrasion resistance to make your bag durable. The heavy clothing R&D department, a Quechua partner for the research and validation of its components and assemblies, performs tests (on components, seams and the finished product) simulating the ageing of backpacks. Their results allow us to guarantee the bags tested for 10 years from the purchase date shown on the receipt.

Lightweight

Because when you hike, you must wear your equipment, we think about lightness. Here at Quechua, we design our products in such a way that they are always lighter and guarantee great freedom of movement.

Product design: our expertise

Our Quechua global design centre is based in Passy, at the foot of Mont-Blanc in Haute Savoie. This location makes it a real meeting place for our teams (designers, product managers, engineers, etc) and outdoor sports enthusiasts. A great asset for designing your mountain walking products and providing you with all our expertise.

How to care for and wash a rucksack?

We recommend hand-washing your rucksack. Use soapy, lukewarm water, possibly with a brush, focusing on the areas in contact with the body (shoulder straps, back, waist belt), where you have perspired. This is the best way for the fabric properties to be maintained, in particular the waterproofness. Then rinse well with lukewarm water, dry in a dry place away from direct sunlight (no radiator). Store in a dry place.

How do i adjust my backpack?

1 - Loosen all the straps (straps, hip belt, load adjuster straps). 2 - Put the backpack on. 3 - As this bag is small in volume, put the belt around the waist and tighten it. 4 -Tighten the shoulder straps. 5 - Adjust the load adjuster straps as needed

Hand luggage

When you are travelling by plane, the authorized hand luggage size is 55x35x25cm3 maximum (warning, this can vary depending on the airline). This backpack can therefore be used as cabin baggage

Product testing

To meet your requirements, Quechua products are tested in the mountains in conditions you will encounter during your hikes. Our teams, as well as a tester panel (made up of partners, ambassadors and customers), test products throughout their development until they go to market.

Storage instructions

Store in a dark, dry, well-ventilated place.
