Perfect

I use the bag in marathon skating and marathon running, it is simply great, the only bad thing is that the plastic sleeve did not pass through the water bag, can you help me with this, what should I do?

Super useful for walking in the countryside! It is also very convenient and functional for city wandering.

Overall, the backpack is nice, but it is only suitable for spring, summer, the beginning of autumn and very light hiking, as it is much colder, I do not recommend it in winter at all, everything will freeze in there

Shame

Some aspects are missing that were on the old bag of the same type: - water bag valve very difficult to put in and take out of the bag because the pass is too narrow. - missing a hook at the bottom of the bag straps to prevent the valve from wandering everywhere (2 loops insufficient) - carrying comfort the bag moves a little while running but well adjusted it remains reasonable

Ondo

I liked it a lot, but I do miss some compartment inside to put small things

Hydration bladder leaking, warranty does not cover

The mouthpiece of the hydration bladder becomes leaky after normal use. Unfortunately, when a complaint was made about this, there was no guarantee: "The hydration bladder is not covered by the guarantee due to wear and tear."

Great when you have less to carry

I have a full sized walking bag but undertaking some very hilly ultra walks this year (75km and 55km) and wanted something lighter. The bag is light and comfortable on the back, without any internal structure it moulds to your back. Hole for your hydration bag to pass through and two strong velcro straps to keep it upright. Only issue I've had is because the hydration bag sits almost directly on your back it tends to warm to luke warm water after a few miles. I plan to add some thin insulation to fix this. Overall though pleased I bought it!

good design

Disadvantages: The material is thin and seems very delicate. There are no reinforcements (mesh) like higher-end products have. The chest strap slides almost loosely on the guides and as a result, it constantly moves up. Inside there is only a compartment for a water bottle and a small pocket that can fit a phone. This pocket gives the impression of being delicate. I wouldn't put my keys there. A simple organizer would be useful - for a flashlight, a penknife, a pen or a tiny notebook. The straps are quite short. You probably can't use a backpack in winter. Advantages: There are two very functional pockets on the hip belt (?). Small accessories and snacks fit perfectly there. It will also fit a 6" phone. Mesh pockets on the sides make it incredibly easy to secure bottles. Surprisingly it works perfectly. They will hold either a bottle or something else. Access to these pockets is very good. It's easy to put something in and take it out. The front pocket has a zipper that increases its volume to accommodate a helmet. Here you will probably wear something warmer (fleece/jacket). Access to the interior, despite the wide opening, is not the best or comfortable (small zippers). However, this is a backpack for fast walking. Everything that needs to be at hand fits on the outside, you don't even need to look inside, so I accept it. There are 4 loops from the bottom. You can attach something. It is possible to attach poles. On the back side there are sponges with holes. This is to improve ventilation. It works so-so. Is it functional? In my opinion, very much so. The water bottle holds 2 liters. We will throw in a bottle of isotonic drinks (0.75 l) on the side. On the other hand, a roll for the road. In the pocket on the hip (belly?) belt are snacks and small items that you want to have at hand. This will last for many hours. Warmer clothing for a stopover in your back pocket. Is it suitable for running? NO. Buy something dedicated. Capacity? The interior holds approx. 14 liters (2 liters will be occupied by a water bottle). The manufacturer declares 17 liters. The missing 3 liters are probably external pockets. Decathlon is one of the FEW equipment manufacturers that measure capacity reliably. Is it worth buying? On the one hand, delicate materials. On the other hand, very high functionality. The set includes a water bladder (nothing special, but it is there). Replace it with one with a quick connector, it's worth it. There is virtually no competition for this backpack on the market. Backpacks/vests for runners are very comfortable and functional, but they are designed strictly to their needs. Adapted to foldable bottles, gels. They are also several times more expensive. Sometimes there are backpacks that are similar in functionality, but only sporadically. Usually much more spacious. This one is just right. For whom? For someone who doesn't like wasting time, doesn't like taking off their backpack every now and then (oh, that unforgettable feeling of a wet back!). I don't go to the Tatra Mountains. But in the Sudetes, Beskids or Bieszczady Mountains, it will be perfect for quick one-day trips on routes up to 60-70 km long (I'm talking about really fast walking, without unnecessary stops).

10-year guarantee

The guarantee covers any backpack faults, except those caused by normal wear and tear and improper use. This special 10-year warranty will only be granted upon presentation of the receipt and the product, and if the product is covered by warranty, it will be repaired or exchanged, free of charge. This commercial guarantee does not affect any statutory guarantees that are applicable in the country/state of purchase.

Durability

We take care over abrasion resistance to make your bag durable. The heavy clothing R&D department, a Quechua partner for the research and validation of its components and assemblies, performs tests (on components, seams and the finished product) simulating the ageing of backpacks. Their results allow us to guarantee the bags tested for 10 years from the purchase date shown on the receipt.

Lightweight

Because when you hike, you must wear your equipment, we think about lightness. Here at Quechua, we design our products in such a way that they are always lighter and guarantee great freedom of movement.

Product design: our expertise

Our Quechua global design centre is based in Passy, at the foot of Mont-Blanc in Haute Savoie. This location makes it a real meeting place for our teams (designers, product managers, engineers, etc) and outdoor sports enthusiasts. A great asset for designing your mountain walking products and providing you with all our expertise.

How to care for and wash a rucksack?

We recommend hand-washing your rucksack. Use soapy, lukewarm water, possibly with a brush, focusing on the areas in contact with the body (shoulder straps, back, waist belt), where you have perspired. This is the best way for the fabric properties to be maintained, in particular the waterproofness. Then rinse well with lukewarm water, dry in a dry place away from direct sunlight (no radiator). Store in a dry place.

How do i adjust my backpack?

1 - Loosen all the straps (straps, hip belt, load adjuster straps). 2 - Put the backpack on. 3 - As this bag is small in volume, put the belt around the waist and tighten it. 4 -Tighten the shoulder straps. 5 - Adjust the load adjuster straps as needed

Hand luggage

When you are travelling by plane, the authorised hand luggage size is 55x35x25cm3 maximum (warning, this can vary depending on the airline). This backpack can therefore be used as cabin baggage

Product testing

To meet your requirements, Quechua products are tested in the mountains in conditions you will encounter during your hikes. Our teams, as well as a tester panel (made up of partners, ambassadors and customers), test products throughout their development until they go to market.

Storage instructions

Store in a dark, dry, well-ventilated place.
