great for colder days
I am a 47 large and I took the advice of the saleswoman for a 47/50, you're talking about my nephew, I have a friend who is a 45, he barely knows. I wash cold after each purchase and let it relax. You can't trust these salespeople who know nothing or so little.
Socks that I bought on the advice of a salesman for working in the cold do not keep my feet warm for more than 2 hours maximum...

Reducing the risk of chafing
We have selected a technical yarn with a specific coating (PTFE) at the heel and toe to reduce rubbing and therefore the risk of blisters. In no circumstances do these socks provide 100% protection from blisters. Blisters usually appear when our skin is weakened by chafing, generally caused by socks, shoes or foreign bodies. Humidity also plays an important role as it weakens our skin.
Choosing the height of your socks
We offer 3 lengths of hiking socks. “Short/low” goes slightly above the shoes but under the ankles. “Medium/mid” protect your ankles and stop just above them. These 2 lengths are sized to be worn with low shoes. “Tall/high” are perfect to wear with high-top hiking shoes as they stop just below the calf.
How to correctly select hiking socks
Each of our sock sizes fits 4 shoes sizes (3/5, 6/8, 9/12, 13/15). The benefit of the elastane qualities in our socks is that they adapt well to your foot and stay in place. We all have different size feet, in length, proportion and volume: that's why it’s important to try on your socks before going hiking

We hit as many footpaths as possible, in all weathers, with other hikers, to check their comfort and durability
