As shown in the photo

Socks are quite thick to see in walking shoes, they are aesthetic

Breathable

The color is a bit messy. I prefer them in black, but they are very breathable. There is little odor. They can be used for 2 to 3 days of trekking.

The girl who recommended them to me was 100% right. There are no chafing.

Hiking socks

I've been using them intensively since March and so far they suit me very well, no unnecessary friction. I'll wait and see how they will be in the hot weather.

Very comfortable. I even use it for long distance running. Might be a bit warm for some, but it is wool after all.

Not entirely convinced

Comfortable and perfect size. However, a little disappointed because I did a 30km hike and I had a little warming under the soles of my feet. I will test them again on a long distance to see if it starts again. On a 12km hike, no problem. I recommend for short hikes but not long ones.

cold hot socks

walks with little snow but very cold were perfect and the afternoon with sun too

Top

Very good product that helps retain heat. Ideal for trekking and sports trips. No chafing and the product fits perfectly.

icon-circle-checkmark verified purchase

I bought them specifically for the Camino de Santiago and they worked great. Feet dry (of course it depends a lot on the shoes) and comfortable.

Additional Product Information

Composition

Socks: 8.0% Polypropylene, 7.0% Polyester, 69.0% Polyamide, 3.0% Elastane, 13.0% Wool

Pack of 2 pairs

This model is sold in packs of 2 pairs of socks of the same color.

Reducing the risk of chafing

We have selected a technical yarn with a specific coating (PTFE) at the heel and toe to reduce rubbing and therefore the risk of blisters. In no circumstances do these socks provide 100% protection from blisters. Blisters usually appear when our skin is weakened by chafing, generally caused by socks, shoes or foreign bodies. Humidity also plays an important role as it weakens our skin.

Choosing the height of your socks

We offer 3 lengths of hiking socks. “Short/low” goes slightly above the shoes but under the ankles. “Medium/mid” protect your ankles and stop just above them. These 2 lengths are sized to be worn with low shoes. “Tall/high” are perfect to wear with high-top hiking shoes as they stop just below the calf.

How to correctly select hiking socks

Each of our sock sizes fits 4 shoes sizes (3/5, 6/8, 9/12, 13/15). The benefit of the elastane qualities in our socks is that they adapt well to your foot and stay in place. We all have different size feet, in length, proportion and volume: that's why it’s important to try on your socks before going hiking

Warranty

Our hiking socks are guaranteed for 2 years.

Product testing

All our socks are tested in the lab and in the field to validate the following: toxicology, UV resistance, resistance to abrasion, accelerated ageing and resistance to repeated washing. At the foot of the Mont Blanc, in France, our design team imagines, draws and designs Quechua socks. We hit as many footpaths as possible, in all weathers, with other hikers, to check their comfort and durability
