not very aesthetic at first glance, but this tent is very resistant, it has another layer that we add on top to counter rain and humidity, which makes it something incredible, what's more when you get the hang of it it's easy to assemble, however a little annoying to put away but that's no big deal it can be learned 😅
The tent is set up and taken down with remarkable ease. It is comfortable for two people. Its price is fully justified in view of its qualities and its practicality.
It's the best tent, value for money. I slept in it for about 2 months. It is still in excellent condition. The only downside is that in storms, or very heavy downpours, the back of the anti-rain part sticks to the mosquito net, which no longer makes it waterproof. So, I advise you to sew a small tie, in order to put a sardine, to prevent this part from touching. But for $30, for this weight, size and quality, nothing to complain about. If there was a peg attachment at the back it would be perfect.

Easy assembly and very light
Very good tent in every way. But one big downside....it is not waterproof. However, this is my first use. After a day of rain, it let water through. As a result, my sleeping bag and my belongings were partially wet... Really disappointing Tess
Good
Very easy assembly. Sturdy pegs, good material workmanship. Capacity: an excellent 1 1/2 square mattress. An internal pocket for small objects would be missing but it's a detail. Used in Lazio in mid-July with almost 40°C in a shaded campsite, it took my breath away. It's a tent that's too hot for summer, I had to open the entrance net to breathe with my head close, almost outside. Low weight but for hiking or cycling it's a bit too much.

Pitching/folding
Classic dome structure: Fit the poles on the inner tent, then attach the flysheet over it. Reverse the process to unpitch.If it is windy, it is advisable to attach the guy ropes that are provided in the tent bag.
Mattress compatibility
We recommend you use the tent with the self-inflating or backpacking mattress measuring 25.6” maximum. We do not recommend the use of inflating mattresses over 2.4” thick in this tent due to the reduction in living space and resistance to condensation.
Ventilation
1 high air vent at the back. Correctly position the lateral tent pegs to maintain a space between the flysheet and the ground all around the tent. The good air circulation between the bedroom and the flysheet will limit the natural phenomenon of condensation.
Waterproofing
All Quechua tents are validated in a laboratory (whole tent under 200 L/m²/h for 4 hours), as well as in the field. (Flysheet coated polyester PU 2000 mm, ground sheet polyethylene 4.2 oz/m², all seams sealed with heat-sealed strips). The presence of a breathing polyester compartment underneath the flysheet avoids contact with condensation water drops that can form on the inside of the flysheet.
Wind resistance
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A properly pitched tent with all guy ropes fitted around the tent must remain habitable in wind speeds up to 25 mph near the ground (Force 5).
