Overrated

First use, my water bottle fell out of the pockets before I even reached the bus stop. I haven't used it since.

Using it every day

Capacity is like Tardis. Comfortable even on very long walks. Can handle very heavy load. I use it as everyday bag and go for longer day treks with it up to 40-50 km. This bag can handle it all! Super recommended!

Great multi travelling bag

I bought this backpack about 3 years ago and I've used it every single day, for work, travelling, hiking, etc. It is very resistant, comfortable, and it also fits under the seat in airplanes. The design is quite simple so for my next backpack I would like something with more compartments specially for travelling, but otherwise I definitely recommend it!

Go to bag

Love this bag. It’s gone everywhere with us. Beach days, long walks, holidays, camping. 30l is big enough for our family of 4, probably slightly too big to use as a work bag. Plenty of pockets and lots of zips to keep things secure. Would def recommend.

Ideal for any beach outing, hiking, picnic... Large capacity and numerous pockets make it very practical

Excellent backpack that the seller recommended to us who, after asking us questions, advised us to buy it. Since then, we have used it well and we must admit that it meets our expectations....thank you

nice backpack!

cool backpack! However, despite its large size, it is not very roomy.

hiking bag

Alright

Another essential Decath despite the straps

This bag goes everywhere with me. The capacity is really good, and the zippers work perfectly. I'm really happy with it, except for... ...the fabric covering the straps. It's extremely irritating on healthy skin! It's truly hellish when wearing a tank top or a summer dress with thin straps. This is truly THE biggest downside for me. The carrying straps (hips and chest) are essential. However, compared to one of my bags that's a few years older, they've clearly shrunk, and the clips are of lower quality. Compared to this old bag, the waist strap is definitely less comfortable (it's not a matter of padding, as the one on my old bag doesn't have any). The added bonus? The rain cover in the very last pocket!

Very practical, many…

Very practical, with many pockets and compartments. Space for a water bag and a waterproof cover.

Additional Product Information

Composition

Main fabric: 100.0% Polyester ; Main lining: 100.0% Polyester ; Yoke: 100.0% Polyamide ; Webbing: 100.0% Polypropylene ; Bag cover: 100.0% Polyester ; Coating: 100.0% Polyurethane

How is the volume measured?

The volume of each backpack is measured using a standard method: We fill the main compartment, as well as each pocket, with little balls. Then we empty these balls into a graduated container, which gives the equivalent volume in liters.

How to adjust your backpack?

1 - Loosen all the straps (straps, belt, load adjuster straps)2 - Put the backpack on3 - Tighten the shoulder straps4 - Adjust the load adjuster straps as needed

How to pack your backpack

Place heavy equipment at the bottom. Pack your clothes around these items. Keep your waterproof jacket and/or fleece within arm’s reach. Place small items for daily use (sunblock, map, glasses, etc.) in the pockets. The water bladder will be placed in the compartment provided along the back, and the water bottle in the outer water pockets provided for this purpose.

Laboratory tested

We carry out several laboratory tests to validate the bag's components: fabric, buckles, straps, foam, zippers. For example, for a fabric, we test the resistance to abrasion and tearing, colorfastness when exposed to UV light and washing, and waterproofing. We also conduct tests to check the resistance of assemblies using a mannequin that reproduces the movements of a hiker to replicate several years of wear and tear on the bag.

Product testing

It’s in France, at the foot of Mont Blanc, that our design team conceives, creates, and designs the Quechua products.
