The shoes are comfortable, my feet are quite wide so I believe a size above would have been perfect. Nice colours and good waterproofing.
Great quality and value, have done four 4 hour hikes, no hot spots. Excellent grip, lightweight, comfy.
If the tip is wider, there will be much more comfortable.
The shoes look quite good, but I am not able to try them on as they are far too narrow for me and very long. I usually wear a 38, but I will return them as soon as we can travel to Melbourne. I have never had this problem before. What is the procedure to return goods? We live in Moe and can easily get to a branch in the South East. Thanks, Helene Hunt
Delivery was very prompt and when first sizing did t fit I received second pair promptly. Unfortunately larger size was too long but narrow width. I felt the fit was wrong for my feet so had to return shoes and ask for a refund
Good value for money
Very comfortable shoes which can accommodate orthodics easily. Light weight. Good walking soles nice design and colours. Wore shoes for a 6 km walk and they were extremely comfortable!
excellent value for hiking boot in the average price range. does not feel like a hiking boot more like a running /walking shoe. excellent comfort.
These are very narrow make my toes hurt not comfortable at all.
I’m usually a 6-6.5 and ordered a 7, good job because they just fit! Honestly the most comfortable walking shoes I’ve ever had and though they’re advertised as not waterproof, I didn’t get wet feet in the snow. I don’t think they’d stand up to puddles but then they’re not boots so water would go over the top of any shoes!
Good quality walking boots. I am a size 4 or 5 so I ordered a 5 because I often need a larger size for the extra width. These are a small size 5. They are just about wide enough for me though, luckily.
I have bought these for all my family.. they run about 1/2 size small but amazing value and extremely fit for purpose
Perfect fit. Warm in the cold and rain and keep your feet dry. The tread is good as well on ice and on the trails. Easy to keep clean.
Perfect for their advertised use and at a very reasonable price.

The design of this sole has been the subject of extensive research in our laboratories. It is composed of a special rubber formulation that optimizes grip and traction. The sole design of the NH100 delivers more grip than traction. Traction: prevents slipping on soft ground (muddy or dry). Grip: prevents slipping on hard ground (wet or dry).
Our hiking boots are designed for use on country trails. Indeed, we choose the components of the sole and upper of our boots and test them to ensure that they are ideally suited to hiking on loose trails (e.g. forest paths made of soil) or rocky trails (e.g. rocky coastal paths). The boots may wear prematurely and feel uncomfortable when used on roads (asphalt). They are not suitable for mountain walking.
Laboratory tests are conducted to validate the following elements: tearing of the eyelets and straps, gluing, toxicology, UV resistance, abrasion of the sole and the components of the upper, accelerated aging. We use these tests to improve the quality of our products and prevent the premature wear of our hiking boots.
Try on both boots while standing, with the socks worn for hiking. Try on several models or sizes if necessary. Check the following 2 comfort points: the bottom of the heel and the front of the foot going downhill. There should be no pressure points when trying them on. Feel free to walk around the store. Gradually wear in your boots over the course of a few hikes so that they conform to your feet.
Many things cause blisters when hiking: rubbing, a crease in the sock, moisture, a boot size that is too small or too big, etc. It is therefore important choose the right size and to have socks made of the right material for your hiking boots.
You must choose the right sock size for your foot so that there are no additional creases in the sock: either because the sock is too big resulting in too much material around your foot, or because the sock is too small resulting in extra material getting pulled inside the boot.
Moisture must be effectively managed when hiking: this is often unavoidable given that we perspire. If your boot is breathable, it will eliminate your perspiration. You must therefore choose socks that are both lightweight and breathable. If your boots are relatively waterproof, you will not make the same choice to protect yourself from the moisture of the rain: it is preferable to buy socks that will absorb perspiration, to keep the moisture as far away as possible from your foot.
Although this type of footwear offers some breathability, it is not sufficient to eliminate all the perspiration. We therefore recommend the NH100 Mid socks: they contain cotton that absorbs moisture and they have a plush loop construction under the sock that keeps the moisture away from your foot. What's more, they are high enough to protect your ankle from the boot. This is an excellent combination for reducing blisters.
Our hiking boots are guaranteed for 2 years. Our commitment? To offer you durable products you can take with you on all your country walks. Because the products we like the most are those with a story behind them that is still ongoing!
Our design team imagined, thought up and designed the Quechua products in France, at the foot of the Mont Blanc. We test them in the field with other hikers to make sure that they are comfortable and durable. Whether it is the Forest of Fontainebleau or Brittany for example, we visit as many trails as possible, in all weather conditions. These moments involve a lot of discussions. We use this to get your feedback and prepare our future collections!
